Mopar Opens New Parts Distribution Centre in Brampton, Ontario, Canada

Customizing and personalizing a vehicle is part of the consumer process when it comes to owning a car. Whether it’s the color, some must-have features, or buying some mods, everyone likes to give their vehicle a personal touch. Sometimes, that means getting some aftermarket parts and/or kits. Sure, there are plenty of third-party companies out there that will do a custom order, but for consumers who want to stay loyal to their brand, there is one sure place to go to for upgrading a car’s performance and capability, especially when that car is a Stellantis brand. A subsidiary of the automobile group, Mopar has been around since the 60s, and a nationwide platform for the states, Mopar has expanded its reach in North America to set up shop in Canada.
“The opening of our new Mopar Parts Distribution Centre in Brampton represents a significant milestone for Mopar and Stellantis and is further proof of our ongoing investment in enhancing operational excellence…We’re bringing the latest technology and innovation into our facility to support our dedicated Unifor-represented employees. This new, state-of-the-art workplace will improve efficiency for our dealers and customers while ensuring that we can quickly deliver the right part at the right time every time.” – Mike Koval Jr., senior vice president, head of Mopar North America
Initially known as a performance parts store for Dodge and Chrysler, the aftermarket store has introduced all new catalogs for other brands. The Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) catalog releases new parts and kits every so often to enhance the capability of a Jeep SUV, like the 2-inch Lift Kit released last year. During the 2019 New York International Auto Show (then the Detroit Auto Show), the next-generation Ram 1500 made its official debut with all-new parts from Mopar to show just how personal this pickup truck can get. Now more of a lifestyle vehicle, the Ram 1500 knows no bounds – and for those that still want the Ram 1500 as a work truck, the Ram 1500 Classic is still around. Electric vehicles won’t be left out, either. Thanks to Dodge Direct Connection, Mopar will be selling several power modules for consumers to get the most out of the 2025 Dodge Daytona SRT electric vehicle.
Mopar is also known for introducing all kinds of cool concepts, with customized Jeep SUVs for the Jeep Easter Safari Show every year. For consumers who like to collect special edition models, Mopar is also known to release a fully-customized limited edition vehicle every year. The most recent Mopar limited edition models are the Mopar ‘24 Jeep® Gladiator and the Mopar ‘23 Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger models. Mopar is known for so many cool things here in the States, and now, our neighbors to the north will get to enjoy aftermarket parts just as much as we do.
Opening a new, state-of-the-art Mopar Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, the 513,000-square-foot facility will be the one-stop shop for consumers. Housing close to 55,000 parts, Stellantis estimates that the new Mopar facility will be able to ship up to an estimated 2 million orders every year. Now that’s what we call popular! Orders can also be fulfilled quickly with the innovative AutoStore automated storage and retrieval system. Operated by 27 robots equipped with advanced picking and navigation functions, parts can be retrieved from one of 43,000 bins stacked within 11,700 square feet of storage space, and then transported to a production station where employees pack and process the final shipments.
All-in-all, it’s pretty neat stuff. But don’t just take our word for it. You can buy a new Stellantis vehicle at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and customize your own vehicle with parts from a Mopar catalog today.
