2024 Easter Jeep Safari Concepts by Mopar
Off-road automaker Jeep® is known for a number of things – 4×4 off-road capability, adventure, a consumer base that is officially called “Jeepers”, a number of honors and accolades to its name, and several annual events that celebrate the brand’s history and continue to find new ways to live the Jeep life. Every spring, the Easter Jeep Safari is there to handle the latter. A 9-day event that starts in Moab Utah, Easter Jeep Safari consists of trail rides and trade where consumers can find new after-market accessories to modify their Jeep for their next adventure. As always, Mopar put together a few concepts to show what a Jeeper with the right imagination can do with a Jeep and the Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) catalog by Mopar.
Jeep Low Down Concept
Powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine, the Low Down concept is based on a 2-door Jeep Wrangler 392 model. Outfit with 42-inch mud-terrain tires mounted on 20-inch beadlock wheels. High-clearance carbon fender flares add a little attitude to this concept, and the Poison Apple Red paint is as enticing as the real ruby red. The original Wrangler Rubicon 392 suspension is kept as a part of the setup, but Dana 60 axles with 5.38 gears replace the standard Dana 44 axles with 4.10 gears, giving more control in more versatile off-road situations. The total ground clearance, and breakover, approach, and departure angles also get a slight increase. The interior upholstery is custom black leather with cloth inserts, the bottom of the cabin is lined with Rhino floors, and the center console comes with a custom radio-delete instrument panel.
Jeep Willys Dispatcher Concept
A new take on the Wrangler 4xe, this one goes retro with vintage-style 16-by-7-inch alloy wrapped in Super Traxion 36-inch tires. The front fascia also features a custom old-school front bumper, and WILLYS lettering is embossed into the sides of the hood. Capitalizing on that old school look is a custom shade of Element 115 Green paint job to bring the concept to life. This even comes with a classic-looking 8274 Warn winch for towing or getting towed. Inside, the retro styling continues with a custom retrim of the upholstery, made up of a mix of distressed saddle leather and houndstooth cloth inserts, and low-back vintage front and rear headrests. Ready to go off-road and get dirty, this concept comes with a rugged JPP vinyl floor covering. The Jeep Wills Dispatcher is powered by the award-winning 2.0-liter plug-in hybrid 4xe propulsion system able to generate 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Jeep Gladiator Rubicon High Top Concept
One for the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, the High Top concept wants to push the boundaries and starts with a bold Ginger Snap metallic exterior with retro-inspired two-tone graphics. Riding on new 40×13.5R18 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires mounted on 18-by-9-inch Satin Black KMC Grenade Crawl beadlock wheels, the JPP fender flares give every corner plenty of clearance for going off-road and seeking out adventure. Equipped with Dana 60 front and rear axles with matching 5.38:1 gearing and an AccuAir adjustable air suspension, no trial is too mighty for the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon High Top Concept. Powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, the truck also comes with a truck bed storage system by DECKED for lockable cargo space and dual sliding drawers for extra storage in the back. Inside, custom quilted and perforated tan and black Alea leather makes up the upholstery, featuring an embossed JPP logo on the headrests. A JPP sun bonnet offers some protection from the sun’s rays, all-weather floor mats and door sill guards protect the interior from the elements, and a JPP pedal kit has been installed.
Jeep Vacationeer Concept
For those looking to take their Jeep out into the wilderness, a custom, carbon-fiber RedTail Overland Skyloft has enough space for two people to lay down and get some shut-eye, to enjoy the panoramic views from a climate-controlled oasis. Front and rear skid plates offer plenty of underbody protection for going off-road and going where you need to go to find that special spot. The exterior comes with unique bodyside woodgrain graphics that pay homage to early 1960s-1990s Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models, rides on 18-by-9-inch bead grip 701 Method racing wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires, adds some custom bodyside flares for an aggressive appeal, and can back it with a natural 1.5-inch lift for extra ground clearance. The front fascia features a white, Rhino-lined roof and three 11-inch TYRI LED lights. Inside the second and third-row seats have been removed for the Skyloft, but there is a custom weatherproof, pass-thru entrance that allows for easy access from the interior floor to the Skyloft, plus a fore/aft sliding door and a small step that doubles as a table to really make it feel like a small home. Powered by a 3.0-liter Hurricane Twin Turbo 510 engine able to deliver 510 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, the adventure lovers have been waiting for this one.
