Dodge//SRT has seen some changes over the course of 2020 – 2021 following the Stellantis merger. Almost disbanded, the SRT group is focusing more on custom auto parts and accessories with long-time partner MOPAR. Known as an auto parts after store for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), MOPAR is well known for a catalog of performance parts that help enhance Dodge, Ram, and Jeep vehicles. Now, Dodge is boosting the catalog with more than just parts. Set to become the new home for all Dodge muscle car lovers, the automaker launched a new factory-backed Direct Connection performance parts catalog, hotline, and even Dodge Power Brokers Dealer Network.

We got good news and bad news. The bad news is that orders for Direct Connection parts won’t accepted for a few months, aimed for later in the first quarter of the New Year, so probably by April if we don’t see any delays. Consumers and enthusiasts alike don’t need to wait to see the catalog, however, because Dodge already uploaded the new Direct Connection parts catalog online, available for download at Dodge.com/dodge-muscle. It’s complete with parts information and pricing, and the Direct Connection hotline is already operational, able to provide technical support from real performance experts.

“Direct Connection will continue its rollout next year with a lineup of 200-plus parts, and with a network of Dodge Power Brokers dealers trained and equipped to help enthusiasts take that performance to the next level,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge Brand Chief Executive Officer – Stellantis. “The opening of orders for Direct Connection performance parts in the first quarter of 2022 is just the start — the lineup of Direct Connection products and Dodge Power Brokers dealers will continue to grow in the years ahead.”

Direct Connection is the fifth installment of changes coming to the automaker as a part of the Dodge Never Lift campaign, a 24-month road map that ends with the electric future of Dodge with eMuscle. The Direct Connection catalog is broken down into three parts – Modern Performance, Competition, and Crate Engines. For consumers looking to “unlock” the full potential of their Dodge vehicle, a new Direct Connection Tuner and Stage kits for the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and Redeye models make up the first category of the catalog. Available in two stages, install the 50-state emissions-legal calibration, able to generate up to 885 horsepower and 787 lb-ft of torque. The Competition catalog for Direct Connection has to do with real performance at the drag strip, with kits for the Dodge Challenger Mopar Drag Pak, a factory-built, turn-key drag car for racers who compete in sanctioned series and are looking for a true advantage.

Crate Engines are a popular choice when it comes to improving the performance of a vehicle based purely on horsepower and torque. With five popular existing crate engines available, enthusiasts can take any pre-1976 classic and make it a modern hot rod. The crates include the (1) 345 Crate HEMI Engine 5.7-liter HEMI engine able to generate 383 horsepower and 417 lb.-ft. of torque, (2) 392 Crate HEMI Engine 6.4-liter HEMI reaches 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque, (3) Hellcrate 6.2L Supercharged Crate HEMI Engine 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI pumps out 717 horsepower and 656 lb.-ft. of torque, (4) Hellcrate Redeye 6.2-liter Supercharged Crate HEMI Engine High-output 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI hits 807 horsepower and 717 lb.-ft. of torque., (5) Hellephant 426 cu.-in. Supercharged Crate HEMI Engine 426 cu.-in. supercharged HEMI “beast” boasts 1,000 horsepower and 950 lb.-ft. of torque (available Q2 2022).

Alongside the hotline helping with tech support, the new Dodge Power Brokers program will become the exclusive source for all new Direct Connection performance parts, almost separate from MOPAR. Opening in late Q1 2022, the Brokers Network will be open once ordering becomes available. We’re looking forward to it, and we’re sure you are too.
