Dodge Drops Third Ad for Final Last Call Model – Density Matters

The last call for the “Last Call” Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger models are almost complete. Never to be seen again in a gasoline-powered form, the legendary muscle cars are entering their next generation with electric motor-powered variants as the Fratzog model lineup. A seven-model lineup, it started with the first “Last Call” model, 500 Dodge Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Pack, Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Pack Widebody, followed by the 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee, a dual set with the third and fourth “Last Call” as the 2023 Dodge Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swingers, the 2023 Dodge Charger King Daytona as the fifth “Last Call” model, and the 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost as the sixth. The seventh reveal was planned for the 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA; then pushed back to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, currently dated for March 20, 2023. As we await the seventh and final “Last Call” model, Dodge has been releasing cryptic ads, as per the course of the automaker.
This is just getting weirder and weirder. That’s a good thing for Dodge to drum up excitement and to get people talking about the upcoming final “Last Call” model. Will it be a Dodge Challenger or a Charger? We’re betting on Challenger with some of the hints dropped so far. Starting with this demon-looking character that turned out to be a leprechaun.
That green lad goes through quite the transformation. The third ad has been dropped, and it’s definitely starting to have some buildup going. We’re clearly rooting for the taller of the two, weighing in at 7.1 pounds of muscle. Because the second could be an older brother or transformation of the former, we think the final model is the Dodge Challenger, having come after the Dodge Charger.
We’re not sure what the 7.1 pounds is referring to. We can’t take the ad at face value, that’s for sure. Titled “Density Matters”, this is the third ad of the marketing campaign for the last and final “Last Call” Dodge model. The next one is due on March 9, 2023. We expect to see one every week leading up to the grand reveal on during the Dodge Last Call Powered by Roadkill Nights Vegas event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. More hints may drop between now and then, and Dodge fans and enthusiasts can follow along with the automaker on brand social media channels using hashtags #DodgeLastCall and #Roadkillnights.
Everything about each Dodge “Last Call” model was a callback to something special about the automaker’s heritage, so we can also take a guess and say this final model could pay homage to a classic. Because this is the last of the gasoline Dodge models, we also expect something that pushes the envelope in terms of power. Maybe not like the Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock, but something Demon-infused to go with the current occult theme.
