Muscle car automaker Dodge is pulling out all the stops for its “Last Call” run of the legendary Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger Models. With Dodge eMuscle less than two years away, the next generation of these muscle cars will be all-electric. Just in case anyone still wants to get a high-octane, pure gasoline, high-performance Dodge Challenger or Dodge Charger, there is a last run of these models before the next generation comes to town. With seven special edition models, each with a limited run, so far we know of the Dodge Challenger Shakedown and the 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee. The third Dodge “Last Call” model is a duo – the 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger and 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger models.

“The name says it all – the originals had a unique, fun character, and that’s the same reaction we’re hoping for with our 2023 Dodge Challenger and Charger R/T Scat Pack Swinger models…Dodge Swinger models have always held a unique spot in the Dodge muscle-car pantheon, and these modern-day models bring that fun back to life.” – Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer – Stellantis

Meeting modern style with retro heritage styling, Dodge is known for this design, paying homage to muscle cars of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Back in the day, the original Dodge Dart Swinger was a member of the Dodge “Scat Pack” club, and it came with a unique style, featuring green-on-green interior/exterior color combinations, gold color accents, and wood panel interior touches. The 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger and 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger aim to bring back some of that style, each in their own way, to ramp up the exterior and interior. Each model are only available as a Widebody model, and only 1,000 each will be produced. If green-on-green sounds a little too much, F8 Green and Sublime Green exterior color options, with a White Knuckle option are also optional.

The 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger adds to the exterior all-new badges, such as the Gold School Challenger grille badge, Gold School R/T Widebody grille badge, Gold School Scat Pack + Bee spoiler badge, Gold School Bee fender badges. A Gold School painted Shaker intake is up front, with Retro Swinger rear fender graphics. Riding on 20-by-11-inch Gold School wheels, the brake system is made up of black six-piston Brembo brakes. Inside, the wooden touch is back with a Mod Grain wood-like aluminum interior bezel texture. Green accents the upholstery in the stitching, and the panel badge matches the exterior with a Green Swinger badge. The upholstery is Nappa/Alcantara with a green Dodge Rhombi logo.

Keeping much of the same touches, the 2023 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger come with retro-inspired content, with a new Gold School Scat Pack + Bee grille badge and Gold School Bee fender and decklid badges. The rest of the features remain the same, including the 20-by-11-inch Gold School wheels, Mod Grain wood-like textures, and Nappa/Alcantara seats with the green stitching and green Dodge Rhombi logo. If a clone, does this count as two “Last Call” models, and if so, are only three left?

Two more will be released through September 21, 2022. Then, a month-long break before the seventh and final 2023 Dodge model is revealed at the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, currently set for early November 2022.
