Dodge and Ram Named During KBB Consumer Choice Awards

We’re heading into the spring, and that’s plenty of time for world-renowned automotive publications to put together some “Best of” lists and hand out awards to the best vehicles out there. Kelley Blue Book (KBB) is one such publication, known and trusted by the auto industry and consumers to give them all the data needed to make a smart and knowledgeable car buying decision. Recently, KBB concluded the Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice Awards, and two Stellantis brands made the cut – Ram and Dodge.
Always an honor to land on a “Best of” list, KBB is up there when it comes to a seal of approval. Dedicated to providing consumers with reviews, buy/sell/trade features, and all sorts of other information, it’s hard to leave the website with less knowledge than a consumer started with. Plus, all the “Best of” lists the company puts together year-round can help a consumer narrow down their choices for specific segments or if they have a brand they’re loyal to. When it comes to the Consumer Choice Awards, there are a number of things to consider.
For the 2024 Consumer Choice Awards, the winners are based on consumer automotive perception data from Kelley Blue Book’s Brand Watch study. Covering more than 12,000 in-market new-vehicle shoppers annually on KBB.com, data is pulled during the online brand and model perception tracking for a close look into how shoppers perceive important factors that can affect their purchase decisions as well as give some insight into how brand/model familiarity and loyalty can influence consumers in the market for a new car.
As for Ram Truck, the brand won the Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice award for the Best Overall Truck Brand. Already boasting its 2025 model year vehicles, the new 2025 Ram 1500 made its global debut last year, powered by an all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane engine. In 2023, we got an official look at the all-electric 2025 Ram 1500 REV during the 2023 Chicago Auto Show. According to the automaker and the Dare Forward 2030 business strategy, we should see a lot more all-electric vehicles and models powered by other alternative fuel sources, such as the Ramcharger and a Ram pickup truck powered by hydrogen.
Dodge took home the 2024 Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice award for Best Car Styling Brand. Always recognized for some serious style, this marks the sixth consecutive year Dodge has earned the Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Award. Its recent reveal of the next-gen Dodge Charger puts a huge spotlight on the first all-electric muscle car to come from the automaker, and it’s starting to look like the electrified 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona won’t be alone, being first introduced with a Scat Pack and R/T trim to drive the point home that there’s some real power here – a 400V propulsion system that’s very reminiscent of supercharged V8 performance. Set for release in early 2025, we can’t wait.
