Two 60-second Ad Spots by Stellantis for Super Bowl LVII

Super Bowl 57 happens this Sunday, February 12, 2023. Like many Americans and sports fans, this is a time to break out the nachos and chicken wings, gather with friends and family around the TV, and yell obscenities at the football players after having one too many drinks. Personally, I like to bet on who’s going to win. Hey, if they make a couple million to play tag with a football, making a few bucks is no crime (when betting between friends and not any illegal means). Every year, aside from the final score, there are two other things people remember – the Super Bowl Ads and the half-time show. Returning to the spotlight for Super Bowl LVII (57) in 2023, Stellantis has already announced two 60-second ad-spots to take up some of that sweet commercial time during the game.
Airing during the second-quarter commercial break, Jeep will be taking up the screen to show off one of its key models in the lineup. It’s happening during the two-minute break, so that 60-second ad-spot will most likely be the highlight. Later in the game, slated for the beginning of the fourth-quarter is a Ram advertisement. Usually, an automaker will debut the ad early, sometimes because the original is longer than what made the cut, but this year, Stellantis seems a little tight-lipped. After missing a chance to shine during last year’s Big Game, the world’s 4th largest automaker can’t miss out. We’re definitely curious what can top the nostalgia of Bill Murray driving a Jeep during an edited copy of the movie Groundhog Day in 2020. That ad won the USA Today Ad Meter poll the year.
Well over the 60-second mark, that commercial was fun for everyone. This ad showed off the Jeep Gladiator in bright orange, it’s driving performance, and capabilities. How else did Bill bring a dirt bike all the way out into the snow if not for the Gladiator 1,710-pound payload capacity, or the classic Jeep Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System that gives drivers the power to drive on Snow, Sand, and Mud (plus Rock on Rubicon trims)? After all of the great ads that aired after the Jeep Wrangler 4xe went global (the Pale Blue Dot is a definite favorite), we suspect that Jeep has also put together a little ditty for the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe as well.
For Ram, there hasn’t been any major releases since the Ram 1500 Rebel TRX, but the Ram Revolution Campaign is finally heating up after the reveal of the first all-electric Ram 1500 Revolution BEV concept during the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show. So, we’re currently betting on that one to show up, even if not yet available. Otherwise, well, it’s anyone’s guess – just like the final score between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. If not a huge fan of football, there’s always the mute button. Just be sure to keep an eye out for those two Stellantis commercials.
After the Super Bowl, if any of the Jeep or Ram models catch your eye, remember one thing. Consumers can always find a new Jeep 4×4 SUV or a new Ram pickup truck at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
