Ram Launches Ram Revolution in Honor of the First Electric Ram 1500

After Stellantis announced its electrified plans for the next few years, there were a lot of vehicles said to be released by 2024. Amongst them are the new Dodge eMuscle lineup, electric vehicles by Stellantis-owned Alfa Romeo and Maserati, a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) by Jeep following its dip into electrified vehicles with its 4xe series, and a fully electric Ram 1500 pickup truck. We’ve already seen some of the success of Ram and electric vehicle (EV) technology – just look at the large order Amazon put in for all-electric Ram ProMaster vans. If a big company like that puts its trust in EV technology, that’s the kind of support you can take to the bank. To celebrate the new and upcoming Ram 1500 BEV in 2024, Ram is inviting fans to join them on its journey to revolutionize the pickup truck market once again.
“Launched as a stand-alone truck brand in 2009, Ram revolutionized the pickup truck segment once, and is laser-focused on doing so again with the best electric trucks on the market…Our new Ram Revolution campaign will allow us to engage with consumers in a close and personal way, so we can gather meaningful feedback, understand their wants and needs and address their concerns – ultimately allowing us to deliver the best electric pickup truck on the market with the Ram 1500 BEV.” – Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO – Stellantis
Many people know Ram as “Dodge Ram”, thanks to the trucks Dodge at one time released before the automaker decided to become obsessed with high-performance engines able to generate over 800 horsepower. That kind of power has no place in a pickup truck, but then again, maybe the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX would like a word. This baby is equipped with a 702-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® V8 engine, able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, run a quarter mile in 12.9 seconds at 108 mph. Still, Ram knew Dodge was going in another direction, and thus, the automaker split off to focus on its pickup truck lineup, and eventually vans.
Ram is calling the event the “Ram Revolution”, already setup with its own website, the new RamRevolution.com hub, where consumers can get a closer look at the brand’s new philosophy, as well as get updates with unique visuals and content about the upcoming electric Ram 1500. Even cooler, there will be an ongoing dialogue between Ram and fans that will offer the opportunity to provide input as Ram EV trucks are developed. That’s always a plus for consumers, making sure they’re heard when it comes to the next EV they’re looking toward.
In fact, during the announcement of Ram Revolution, the automaker unveiled images of a concept vehicle currently being developed with customer input. The upcoming Ram 1500 BEV is still in the design phase, so there’s plenty of time for inspiration from the fans to seep through. Ram also launched the video manifesto “Spark” (seen below) to get the hype train going. Furthermore, Ram is debuting its Ram Real Talk Tour, a real chance for consumers to tell the automaker what they’re looking for in the next generation of Ram trucks. Ram Real Talk Tour is a series of yearlong conversations with consumers at various events, and we’re sure fans will have a lot to say.
