The Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition Returns for 2025
There have been a lot of “last call” models over the past few years. Dodge announced its “last call” for Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger models, followed by “Last Call” for HEMI®-powered Dodge Challenger and Charger models and the “Last Call” for V8 Dodge Durango models. The automaker wasn’t alone, followed by the last call for the Ram 1500 TRX, and ultimately, the last call for the Jeep® Wrangler 392 with a Wrangler 392 Rubicon Final Edition. Like Dodge, Jeep just can’t seem to let go of its popular off-road SUV. What was supposed to be a limited edition run for 2024, the Wrangler 392 Final Edition is coming back for the 2025 model year.

It leaves a small sour taste in the mouths of collectors. When a collector hears that a last call or final edition of a model is going into production, they’re quick to snatch one up. However, some automakers just can’t bite the bullet. Dodge discontinued the Dodge Viper, then brought it back, then discontinued it again, then brought it back again multiple times. The previous generation of the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger were supposed to be the last time we saw either as a gasoline model, and yet the new generation of the 2025 Dodge Charger returned with a 420-horsepower Dodge Charger SIXPACK Standard Output (S.O.) fueled by the 3.0L Twin Turbo Hurricane S.O. engine. This was released alongside the new 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona model. Ram did something similar, discontinuing the 1500 Rebel TRX, only to replace it with the new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, or “Rhino”.
These automakers really want to squeeze every drip of juice that they can from these models, and like Dodge and Ram Truck, Jeep has no shame. You’d think a starting MSRP of $99,995 (plus destination fee) was enough for a single run, but nope. The Jeep® Wrangler 392 – the quickest and most powerful Wrangler ever – returns for another model year. Maybe this time it will be the last run, but we wouldn’t bet on it. It would seem the MSRP stays the same, we haven’t heard otherwise, with production of the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 to begin in the first quarter of 2025 and orders opening later this year (2024).
All the equipment seems to be the same. Under the hood is a class-exclusive 6.4-liter HEMI® V8, able to generate 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and run a quarter mile in 13.0 seconds. Made for off-road action, the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 has 11.6 inches of ground clearance thanks to a half-inch suspension lift, plus 34.5 inches of water fording. A standard 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch was thrown in, along with heavy-duty rock sliders, a Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case, intuitive full-time four-wheel drive, heavy-duty wide track Dana 44 axles with Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials, and an electronic front sway-bar disconnect.
The outside comes with Exclusive hood and fender vent decals, a special monogrammed swing gate plaque, a Mopar fold-out swing gate table, and the Standard Xtreme 35 Package with bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. Inside, consumers will also find a special monogrammed shifter medallion and black Nappa leather-trimmed seats. Unlike the 2024 model, the 2025 model year will not come with the Mopar triple loop grille guard and Mopar Jeep 83-piece toolkit.
Back for another year, the Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition may be gone for good once Jeep commits to its electric model lineup and releases the Jeep Wagoneer S and Jeep Recon in America.
