New “Scream @ 215 mph” Dodge Ad Previews Performance Specs of Seventh “Last Call” Model
As we await the reveal of the seventh and final “Last Call” model from Dodge, the muscle car automaker has released a new marketing campaign doing what it does best – being cryptic as heck. Anyone who has seen these types of ads before, such as when the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon first came out, knows there were a lot of hints and signs along the way that gave way to what Dodge was cooking up. So far, it’s something about a leprechaun…and his brother? We think we’re getting more hints than at first glance. With the newest ad, we’re going to try to break this down one more time.

Teaser One and Two
The first ad, the “Last Call Las Vegas” premier, was just a mischievous-looking face and a golden cloud of dust. There were hints of the SRT Demon, maybe even a goblin. Who knew Dodge would be dipping its pen in the world of fantasy for this one? As we learn in the second ad, “Last Call Las Vegas – Runnin’ Hyde”, this is actually a leprechaun we’re looking at. He’s hooked up to an IV, also filled with a golden liquid, and goes through a transformation into a much taller, beefier leprechaun with glowing golden eyes. A play on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, but so far, not a whole lot to go on.

Teaser Three
Here’s where we start to get hints at what Dodge is working on for the final “Last Call” model. We’re still unclear on whether it will be a Challenger, a Charger, or something else – maybe even a Viper? No, that would be too much. The third ad, titled “Last Call Las Vegas – Density Matters” changes everything. We still have the new, beefy leprechaun and a new leprechaun character on a scale. The larger one, of course, wins the battle, weighing in at 7.1 pounds. The internet has been putting this number through a number of mathematical situations for horsepower, torque, and pressure – and so far, we got nothing. It could even be the weight of the car, for a lower center of gravity, and ultimate performance.
Teaser Four
“Last Call Las Vegas – Scream at 215 mph” is something else. A leprahcun holds up a device with a fan up to the larger one. The big guy yells, and the number “1582” flashes on the device. But wait, there’s an equation also on the device – 105@(3.02×2.88)=.
So, in total, it would look like this – 105 @ 8.9996 = 1582. Now we’re getting somewhere. Atlough this math equation doesn’t quite make sense, all of those numbers are linked to something else. Word of the Dodge SRT Demon has resurfaced across the internet with this ad, but Dodge has also been open about not wanting to overshadow past models, such as the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock, or the mighty 1000 HP Mopar Hellephant Engine Kit.
The quarter mile time for the SRT Demon is 9.65 seconds at a top speed of 140 mph. The SRT Super Stock finished a quarter mile in 10.5 seconds at a speed of 131 mph. Could that 8.9996 be the new quarter mile time of this “Last Call” model? And at a top speed of 215 mph? It sounds possible.
As for the 1582, a popular theory is that it has to do with airflow into the engine, seeing as how the number only flashed after the big leprechaun yelled into it. More airflow equals a larger combustion, and that means this new engine could be modified to introduce more air into the combustion chamber before firing the engine. The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon clocked in the airflow at 1,150 cubic feet per minute (CFM). 1582 is quite the jump. Lastly, the 105 is largely thought to reference 105 octane fuel, a common grade used in the world of racecars. Previous Dodge Challenger models had a different set of keys to open up the option to experience the power of the muscle car at its max, but does that mean this “Last Call” model will specifically have a setting for pumping and burning racing fuel? Truly a model for raceway enthusiasts.
We only have a few weeks left before Dodge will reveal the seventh and final “Last Call” model, set to premier during the Dodge Last Call Powered by Roadkill Nights Vegas event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 20, 2023.
