Dodge has been pulling out all the stops to keep the SRT brand alive and keep the fuel for the Brotherhood of Muscle burning. In two years (2024), Dodge will be releasing for the first-time ever, an all-electric vehicle. Dodge eMuscle is the new name of the lineup, where we’ll see the muscle car automaker jump the hurdle of plug-in hybrid integration and go straight for zero-carbon emission fuel. Dodge won’t be giving up its days of horsepower completely, and there are rumors of next-gen Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger models just before the release of eMuscle in case that’s a bust. Another big event was the Operation 25//8 Giveaway, announced last year and a chance for 25 fans to win a new Dodge dream car. The winners have been announced, and that concludes the kick off of the Dodge “Never Lift” Campaign.

“From San Diego to Staten Island, and cities all across the U.S., our Dodge enthusiasts came out in full force to tell us why they should take home a Dodge dream car…We saw nearly 5,000,000 registrations over the course of the program. And for those who weren’t one of the lucky 25, you can take heart by knowing that our search for Chief Donut Maker continues through the end of February.” – Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand CEO

We won’t torture you with too many of the details in case none of our readers won. Just know that Operation 25//8 enlisted a team of 25 ambassadors across automotive, music, sports, fashion, media entities and companies to give away a new Dodge Charger, Challenger, or Durango during the last eight weeks of 2021. All fans had to do was write, in 250 words or less, why they should be the recipient of a Dodge dream car. Amazon was also in on the giveaway with a Dodge Challenger Hellcat.

So, Operation 25//8 was the beginning of the Dodge Never Lift plan, a 24-month road map to Dodge’s performance future. These are always fun, because not only do we get a peek at what an automaker has planned, but we can also see how well they stick to the road map. Alongside a future model lineup, large events and campaigns like Operation 25//8 will take place. Have you heard Dodge is looking for a new Chief Donut Maker?

If not aware, this is the chance for fans to get a job working for Dodge. This is a first in the industry, and of course Dodge would be the one to light the fuse. Anyone can apply, regardless of experience (you may be asked to burn some donuts in a Dodge vehicle), and whoever becomes the next Dodge chief donut maker will become an official Dodge ambassador. This means dressing in Dodge apparel, driving a Dodge SRT Hellcat (as a company car), meeting all kinds of celebrities at all the epic auto events where Dodge appears, and plenty of time to work on your own skills at the Radford Racing School.
