Over the years, muscle car automaker Dodge has found ways to not only build more interest in the lineup before the vehicles all disappear – currently down to the Dodge Challenger, Charger, and Durango – but also give away the most coveted of all, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. In 2019, Dodge had this whole “Brotherhood of Muscle” thing going on, and it still is, but there was a lot of marketing going on at the time that centered around “the brotherhood”, and the only way to enter the brotherhood is to get a Dodge//SRT vehicle. Can’t fit that into your budget? The 2019 Dodge Horsepower Challenger was one way to win a special edition TorRed Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat (Redeye), and in 2019 and 2020, Dodge offered a bit of a break for those who just need a couple thousand with Dodge Power Dollars. 2021 continues the trend with Operation 25//8, giving away 25 Dodge Dream Cars.

“To recognize the Dodge spirit, the belief that 24 hours a day, seven days a week simply isn’t enough effort, Operation 25//8 will enlist a team of 25 people and companies that are all superstars in their fields, including Amazon, Travis Barker, Jay Leno, Cain Velasquez, Supercar Blondie and DraftKings, to give away 25 Dodge dream cars during the last eight weeks of 2021…Operation 25//8 adds 20,000 horsepower to the Brotherhood of Muscle and is the first step in building awareness for our two-year transition plan to redefine the future of American muscle.” – Tim Kuniskis, Dodge Brand CEO

Of course, in this day and age, Dodge has many avenues to do this. With social media a huge way for businesses to stay in touch with their consumers and the community, Dodge and many automakers can be found all over the web with their own social media platforms. The automaker took this even further with Dodge Garage, a central digital content hub for all content pertaining to Dodge from all over the web. Here, Dodge could combine news from its dealership website, its social media platforms, social media posts and feeds, as well as advertise events, contests, and special editions. It’s a place for Dodge enthusiasts to hear about everything Dodge first.

These days, having a well-known name – sometimes a celebrity – sometimes someone who’s just great with a camera and getting their face out there, called an “influencer”, can help a business market a product or event. Not that Dodge really needs the help, but a little push never helps., and so with Operation 25//8, Dodge has enlisted a team of 25 “ambassadors” of social media across automotive, music, sports, fashion, media entities and companies, including Amazon. Each of these entities will be giving away a new Dodge dream car during the last eight weeks of 2021. Starting now, consumers can start following these influencers and media entities across their social media platform(s), including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook. Fans are being asked to respond, in 250 words or less, why they should be the recipient of a Dodge dream car.
