Dodge Reveals “Last Call” 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey
“Last Call!” That’s the phrase we’ve been hearing circling the muscle car brand Dodge lately. Starting with the “Last Call” special edition models of the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger, “Last Call” for HEMI®-powered Dodge Challenger and Charger models, and “Last Call” for V8 Dodge Durango models. Then Dodge started the “Last Call” for the Dodge Durango. Starting back in January 2024, we’ve got a new “Last Call” special-edition Dodge Durango every few months. The latest is the new, limited edition 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey.
“The 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey caps a trio of 2025 Durango SRT Hellcat special-edition models as we recognize 20 years of HEMI power in the Dodge performance SUV…The Durango continues to lead the segment with the Durango SRT Hellcat, the fastest, most capable American three-row gas SUV, delivering best-in-class available towing of 8,700 lbs.” – Matt McAlear, Dodge brand CEO
This marks the fourth (or fifth) special edition of the “Last Call” Dodge Durango models before the automaker discontinues the popular SUV. Or, it might just come back as a non-gasoline model. It’s hard to tell. The “Last Call” for the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger didn’t quite stick, bringing back a new generation of the Dodge Charger with multiple powertrain options. It was simultaneously announced with the reveal of the Dodge Charger SRT Daytona electric vehicle.
Released in May 2024 was the first of the bunch, the “Last Call” Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI hit dealership lots. What followed in August 2024 were two special edition models, the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet and Dodge Durango R/T 20th Anniversary models. Without slowing down after that twofer, Dodge immediately released the “Last Call” 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead Special Edition in September 2024. Each model comes with its own special touches to separate it from the rest of the special edition lineup, so let’s check out what’s so special about the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey.
The “Brass Monkey” term may have been made popular by the Beastie Boys, but Dodge has made sure to embrace the color with dark bronze embellishments and a Red Oxide exterior color. Oddly enough, it’s more black than bronze, but does have a slight tint based on the above front view image. Also, standout features include Brass Monkey exterior badging, a Satin Black painted hood, Black exhaust tips, and a Black six-piston Brembo brake system to keep all of that HEMI power under control. The 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey also rides on 20-by-10-inch Brass Monkey wheels. Inside, consumers also get treated to sepia Laguna leather SRT seats with silver SRT Hellcat logo embroidered on seatbacks, forged carbon-fiber with light black chrome interior accents and suede headliner, a premium wrapped instrument panel, and a dual silver/sepia accent stitching throughout the interior, including a leather and suede steering wheel, also featuring silver/sepia stitching.
Able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, and run the quarter-mile in an elapsed time of 11.5 seconds, the Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey is just like its other special-edition Durango SRT Hellcat siblings. Starting at a U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $113,720 (plus destination fee), it’s a little pricey, but that might be due to the other premium features, such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system with an 825-watt amplifier, and select ADAS features: Blind-spot Monitoring with Trailer Detect, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop.
