Enter the Brotherhood of Muscle with the Dodge Horsepower Challenge
Consumers love Dodge vehicles and the muscle car automaker knows how to share the love. Back in August 2019, to get 2019 models off the lot for 2020 but also a means to give back to loyal consumers, Dodge started the “Dodge Power Dollars” program. The program was pretty simple – consumers could purchase any 2019 Dodge Challenger, Charger, and Durango, and Dodge gave the consumer an allowance that matched the horsepower output at $10 per unit. By the end of the year, the automaker wanted to meet the goal of paying 500 million dollars in horsepower through the Dodge Dollars allowance program. In less than three months, Dodge met the goal, and to celebrate, five new owners will become part of the Brotherhood of Muscle with the Horsepower Challenge.
The Dodge Horsepower Challenge
Starting on November 5, 2019, Dodge will be launching the “Dodge Horsepower Challenge: 5 Weeks. 5 Questions. 5 Challengers”. What a tagline. What do you win aside from being knighted as another Brother? Some lucky Dodge enthusiast will have the chance to take home a special edition TorRed Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. Sweeeet.
The “Dodge Horsepower Challenge: 5 Weeks. 5 Questions. 5 Challengers,” will be hosted by famous wrestler Bill Goldberg. Each week he will present horsepower-inspired challenge questions with multiple choice responses online at Dodge.com every Tuesday. Throughout Dodge social media channels, primarily Twitter and Instagram, clues will be left in the form of hidden hashtags in the imagery. So you don’t have to be a horsepower genius, because there’s a little help to narrow down the multiple choice options.
This should be a treat – Dodge isn’t picking new members completely at random. To become part of the Brotherhood of Muscle, to be even eligible, one needs to answer at least one of the weekly multiple-choice challenge questions correctly. Time will also be limited, with each question lasting from Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. ET and run through the following Monday at 11:59 p.m. ET. For those who hate not knowing, the answers will be revealed for each question during the following week.
Goldberg is also starring in the commercial ad for the Dodge Horsepower Challenge. Like usual, he has the same bravado he’s known for. Also, any chance he and Batman have the same voice actor? Sounds rough.
