Three Jeep Vehicles Win Autotrader 2023 Best of in Canada
Jeep® is already a well-known name in the auto industry. Known for its premium 4×4 off-road capability, the automaker decided to lean more into its appeal and interior features without sacrificing its mechanical engineering. Enter the Wagoneer – not Jeep, but the Jeep luxury brand – kind of like how Dodge split off into Fratzog for its upcoming electric vehicle (EV) lineup. The Dodge Hornet PHEV is getting plenty of attention, but the luxury Wagoneer series is pulling its weight on a global scale. Winning “Best of” in Canada during the 2023 AutoTrader Awards, Jeep and Wagoneer took home some awards.

This year, the Jeep Wrangler, still known as the most capable and recognized vehicle in the world, won the title of “Best Vehicle for Adventure”. With more than 80 years of 4×4 engineering experience, this SUV earned the title easily. Last week during the 2023 Chicago Auto Show, the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 20th Anniversary package also made its debut, showing off improved approach, breakover and departure angles, ground clearance and water fording. The winning title was, however, shared with its younger sibling, the Jeep Gladiator midsize pickup truck, based off of the Jeep Wrangler, and co-winning the title of “Best Vehicle for Adventure”.
Joining the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator in the winner’s circle is the Wagoneer. Named as the “Best Full-Size SUV”, the premium SUV also extends the title to its expanded model. It didn’t take too long for the extended wheelbase Wagoneer L model to appear, shortly after the reveal of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, and this model also earned the title of “Best Full-Size SUV”.
The editors at Autotrader just couldn’t make up their mind. In this case, that’s a good thing. Just more of the best choices to choose from. A jury of 20 of the country’s foremost automotive journalists voted on the best vehicles from more than 30 segments this year, and Jeep came out on top again and again.
