Mopar Opens Storefront on Amazon
Over the last few years, major brands in Stellantis have been partnering up with Amazon, introducing Amazon Fire TV on select models, and many upcoming models will be running on the new STLA SmartCockpit, with many services run by Amazon. Then, top brands started opening up their own storefronts on Amazon to sell brand name merchandise and apparel, starting with the Jeep Storefront on Amazon in 2020. This was followed by Dodge setting up shop on Amazon, then Ram opened a storefront on Amazon, and finally, Chrysler joined Amazon with a storefront. This next one is paying homage to the aftermarket parts group that has performance parts catalogs for all of these brands, celebrating the 85th anniversary of Mopar, an all-new Mopar Store by Amazon is now open.
“We opened this dedicated Mopar store on Amazon to provide our passionate enthusiasts with a seamless online shopping experience for licensed gear and merchandise…With 85 years under our belt, we will continue to look for every opportunity to maximize the customer experience.” – Mark Bosanac, North America senior vice president, Mopar service, parts and customer care
With catalogs of performance parts that consumers can purchase to modify their vehicles, Mopar is responsible for the likes of the Hellephant Engine Kit, a 426 Supercharged Mopar Crate HEMI® engine kit that could give drivers a whopping 1000 horsepower under the hood. Most recently, Mopar introduced a new catalog specifically for Jeep, called the Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) Catalog. This new storefront is the next addition for the group.
A combination of the words MOtor and PARts, Mopar has been around since 1937, starting with a line of antifreeze products and evolving over the next 85 years into what it is today. With the new storefront, consumers will be able to find items that celebrate the past and present of Mopar with a variety of exclusive, officially licensed merchandise, all of course featuring Mopar logos, Mopar heritage styling cues, and homage to Mopar’s storied history. From seat covers and license plate holders to key chains and decals, there will be a lot of unique items sporting the Mopar name. There’s a thermos, there are hats and tees, neon signs – and a clock!
Like all of the storefronts that came before it, Mopar will have its product categories set up as: Home, Apparel, Best Sellers, Gear, Home Collection, New Arrivals, and Vehicle Products. Currently, gear consists of drinkware and decals only, but we assume more will be added, unless “gear” is the new “swag”, and Amazon is trying to keep up with the lingo. We wouldn’t expect performance parts to pop up on Amazon, so neon signs, Sherpa blankets, and apparel for men and women is what to look forward to on the Mopar Amazon storefront. There will also be vehicle products, as noted, with many cosmetic mods, key chains, and decals available.
Looking to get your own vehicle to modify with Mopar performance parts? With catalogs for Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram, you can always find a new Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Gladiator, or Chrysler 300S at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
