Offering businesses and consumers a lot of options, consumers can get a 2021 Ram ProMaster with a cutaway for loading, a chassis cab with a back panel, cargo can, or window van. The roof and wheelbase changes with each trim – a 1500, 2500, or 3500 can be found on a variety of these four models. On a 1500, consumers can get a cargo van with a low roof and a 118-inch wheelbase, or a low or high roof with a 136-inch wheelbase. Going up with the 2500 and 3500, these trims can come with a 136-inch wheelbase or a 159-inch wheelbase with a high roof. It also has the option of a window van with a high roof and 159-inch wheelbase.
No matter the model or trim, a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine is under the hood, able to generate up to 280 horsepower. All engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. With the various models and trims, payload and towing capacity differs between each. The maximum for each is 4680 pounds and 6800 pounds, respectively.
Made more for businesses than the everyday consumers, the exterior of the Ram ProMaster focuses on the bare basics. Cutaways and Chassis Cab models don’t offer much, but the cargo and window vans come with a sliding passenger side door without glass and rear-hinged doors with a 260-degree opening, get a fixed window or delete it, heated exterior mirrors, and the driver’s sliding door can come with or without window installed. Looking for more? Select trims come with deep tint sunscreen glass, side doorsteps, and splash guards available. All trims ride on 16-inch wheels.
The interior gets a little more to work with. Basic features consist of 4-way adjustable driver and passenger seat, cloth upholstery, rear speaker wiring prep, and has plenty of cargo space without rear seating – trims can offer up to 463 cubic-feet. Of course, there are some more upgraded features available depending on the model and trim. Consumers can also get heated seats, swivel and double seats, under seat storage, a floor cargo compartment, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. There are also plenty of Upfit options.
Looking for total customization? With Ram Upfits, consumers and businesses can completely transform the inside of a Ram ProMaster van. Each model has a different set of options, too. The vans can come with a trades interior upfit, mobile office interior upfit and delivery interior upfit. The chassis cab is available with a platform upfit or a box van upfit, and the cutaway van is can come with a service upfit or a box van upfit.
Whether a cutaway, chassis cab, or van, the tech features are the same in the 2021 Ram ProMaster. The setup is a 5-inch touchscreen display with Uconnect 3, a 4-speaker sound system, integrated voice command with Bluetooth, and steering-wheel mounted controls. The new RAM Telematics system is available on all trims.

All 2021 Ram ProMaster models and trims come with advanced front airbag system with side-curtain front airbags, traction, and stability control systems, and remote keyless entry. Select van trims come with a ParkView rear back-up camera. Select trims also come with full-speed forward-collision warning plus, blind-spot and cross-path detection, or a rear park assist system.
All Ram ProMaster models are covered by the following warranties: 3-year or 36,000-mile basic warranty, a 5-year or 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, 5 years or 100,000 miles of roadside assistance, and a 5-year/100,000-mile rust-through coverage plan.
