Stellantis and Mopar are always finding new ways to give consumers more options when it comes to personalizing or modifying their vehicles. Whether it’s to add more speed, more flare, or even protection to keep a car looking like new, Stellantis and Mopar are here for us. Back in 2022, Stellantis revealed a new CPOV program in North America called CPO Go with Mopar for old and pre-owned cars to give consumers more peace of mind when purchasing a used car. In past years, Mopar also had a protection plan through Stellantis called Mopar Vehicle Protection (MVP). Going through a bit of a change, MVP is now being absorbed by FlexCare, the new name for vehicle service contracts and other vehicle protection products in the United States, sold by Stellantis.

“FlexCare is a new name, but the expert factory service and variety of tailored vehicle protection products don’t change…FlexCare stands for flexibility combined with trust and confidence, leading to peace of mind for our valued customers. As we’ve done with our successful Mopar Vehicle Protection program, FlexCare is committed to unparalleled customer and dealer satisfaction, exceptional reliability and outstanding value, making it the go-to choice for vehicle protection.” – Jim Trebilcock, Stellantis global head of service contracts

Because this program comes from Stellantis, know that FlexCare works with Stellantis vehicle brands, including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram Truck. Back in the day, the MVP was a great choice for consumers who know they’re going to be owning a car far more than five years – the usual length of time for a powertrain warranty to expire – the Mopar Vehicle Protection plan offered extended coverage that goes beyond a vehicle’s factory warranty to these very same consumers. The package offered a variety of services depending on the plan consumers elected for. Such services included Cosmetic Wheel coverage, Curb Damage coverage, Paintless Dent Repair, Windshield Repair, Key Replacement, and Interior/Exterior Repair. They even offered Roadside Assistance.

The new FlexCare is believed to do all of that, with new names replacing old ones, such as the new “Extended Care Premium” contract replacing “Maximum Care”, or “Complete Care Plus” replacing “Mopar Complete 360”. Some packages are a little less clear, like the “Complete Care Premium” package, not so much as replacing it as it’s ”Like the Wagoneer Premium Package”? Either way, additional coverages are also included, such as GAP, MultiCare, Lease Wear & Tear, Lease Protect, Road Hazard & Wheel, EVTS, AutoShield, Car Care, and Key Fob.

There are also select advantages consumers get through FlexCare. When it comes to service and maintenance, consumers can make sure they get the best by bringing their Stellantis vehicle to an FCA US dealer and getting maintenance performed by fully trained Mopar technicians. All repairs are performed with certified and factory-backed OEM approved parts to make sure the vehicle is as true to the brand name as it was when it left the assembly line. Consumers still have the option of several plans they can choose based on duration, mileage, and coverage. To avoid the headaches of multiple bills, FlexCare can be added to their monthly vehicle payments, or use interest-free payment options instead.

Consumers can visit mopar.com or their authorized dealer for more details on the new FlexCare program. So contact us at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and ask about getting FlexCare on your new car from Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
