Ram Trucks Announces 1500 and Heavy Duty Limited Night Editions

September 9th, 2020 by

Just last week we discussed all the new features for the 2021 Ram 1500 lineup, and with the 2021 Ram 1500 Rebel TRX having been revealed and sold out so soon, we’re surprised there is so much in store for the classic light duty pickup truck. Alas, even with the 2021 Ram 1500 Classic still churning out on the production line, the pickup truck automaker needs to also give some love to its breadwinner and its heavy set siblings. With a new appearance edition package already set for release, what a better time to announce the return of the Ram Heavy Duty for 2021, already set to receive the Night Edition package.

Built on the pinnings of the Limited trim, the Night Edition from Ram adds even more comfort, technology, and refinement to the Ram 1500 light duty pickup truck and Ram Heavy Duty trucks. Although not yet announced, it’s unclear if that means the Ram 2500 and 3500 or if its larger siblings will also join the party. What we do know is the Limited Night Edition is available on both the Ram 1500 and Heavy Duty models with a number of configurations. Consumers can ride in style with a 4×2 or 4×4 drivetrain, have a Crew Cab or Mega Cab (on Heavy Duty models only), and the choice of any of the many powertrain options. So, what does the Night Edition add?

Starting with a monochromatic design enhanced by a black R-A-M grille, the front fascia comes with a grille surround, the proper badging can be found all around the body, and the usual blacked-out features that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is known to do to its lineup from time-to-time, the headlamps and taillights feature dark bezels, premium power mirrors are outfitted with black caps, the exhaust tips are all black, and the aluminum wheels also come with a black finish (20- or 22-inch on 1500 models). It sounds like the usual night editions, but a sport performance hood on 1500 models will also be added, plus tow hooks and a tri-fold tonneau cover that can appeal to every truck buyer out there. Inside, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system completes the package. Plus, all of this can be found on the Ram Heavy Duty Limited Night Edition, with 20-inch black wheels on single-rear-wheel trucks and 17-inch black wheels with machined pockets on dual-rear-wheel trucks. Whether going for the 1500 light duty pickup truck or the heavy duty, consumers have a choice of style and performance with the Limited Night Edition.

Both models of the Limited Night Edition are already on their way, set to reach dealerships during the late third quarter of 2020, but they’re already on sale. Why not jump ahead and put in an order so you can pick yours up the moment it hits the lot? The starting MSRP for the 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition is $60,045 (plus destination fee). For tougher jobs, the Ram Heavy Duty Limited Night Edition starts at $62,930 (plus destination fee). Contact us at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram to ask about putting in an order today.
