When it comes to working trucks, there is no other classic than the Ram pickup truck. Ranging from light duty to heavy duty, after Ram split from Dodge Ram and went onto a solo career, the name became synonymous with work and family trucks. Known for being able to handle towing and payloads, while also having plenty of cargo space inside the cab for passengers and their belongings, the Ram lineup also plays a large part in farming and agriculture. Over the years, there have been plenty of ads and marketing campaigns that highlight consumers using a Ram pickup truck on farmland, and Ram Truck brand’s commitment to agriculture will continue to grow as the lineup enters an electric age with the first all-electric Ram 1500. Connecting with consumers who also have a passion for a life of agriculture, Ram heads to Indianapolis, Indiana, for the 95th National FFA Convention & Expo to connect, celebrate, and honor FFA students and leaders in the industry.

“The Ram Truck brand has been an active supporter of the National FFA Organization for more than 60 years and it is a great pleasure to share our space and collaborate creatively with Jackson Dean as he shares the same values of dedication and perseverance…We admire and applaud these future agriculture leaders and will continue to encourage their aspirations in any way possible.” – Marissa Hunter, senior vice president of marketing, Stellantis North America

What is the FFA Organization? A school-based national youth leadership development organization dedicated to educating students about agriculture and developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success in the industry. Agriculture is one of the earliest practices of man, besides war and breeding, to provide for the clan, the village, the colony, and eventually, the economy. With more than 850,000 student members and 8,995 local FFA chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the National FFA Organization may not be a name everyone can recognize, but the convention is happening this week, Wednesday, October 26 through Saturday, October 29, 2022, and Ram Truck will be there.

Another bit of marketing, Ram has a new digital video to showcase the hard work and commitment of FFA members, starring country music singer-songwriter Jackson Dean. With a display of the daily life through the eyes of Dean, an FFA member, he talks about planting seeds and the courage to have faith that they will bloom in time for harvest. It’s not just about planting seeds either – it’s about the work farmers put in to keep the soil fertile for new crops, and as Dean puts it, “we have to show up every day and put in the work…[for] farmers, there’s no calling in sick, and [with most of the] important things in life, you don’t get a do-over.”

Ram also has a second ad-spot about the ever-changing life of a farmer and the people in general. New generations of families are met with different hardships and different types of technology to face them. Ram trucks highlights itself with this, evolving with the auto industry and keeping in mind the many types of industries that may require their pickup trucks to get the job done right. Ram Truck is there for whatever challenge comes next.
