Ram 1500 Classic Now Available with Exclusive Mojave Sand Package

Ram trucks have been celebrating a lot of good news lately. The EcoDiesel engine was finally released for the Ram 1500, having been promised since the original debut of the new-generation 2019 Ram 1500. Shortly after, fuel economy numbers for the 2020 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel were released and so far so good. For those that worried that their favorite last-gen Ram 1500, now being sold under the guise “Ram 1500 Classic”, wouldn’t get the same powertrain option, their fears were soothed with news that the EcoDiesel is also available on the still-selling Ram 1500 Classic model. Know what else is coming to the Ram 1500 Classic? A new Mojave Sand package, the same offered on the 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel.
Ram 1500 Classic Warlock Mojave Sand Package
To be clear, the Mojave Sand Package is being made available specifically to the Ram 1500 Classic Warlock trim. This special trim, paying homage to the original Warlock, has a more sinister look than its predecessor. Included in this upgrade is a bold grille with R-A-M lettering, front, and rear powder-coated bumpers, a 1-in. factory ride height lift, 20-inch semi-gloss black aluminum wheels, black wheel flares, LED fog lamps, projector headlamps with dark bezels, LED rear tail lamps, black badging, tow hooks, unique hood decals and heavy-duty rear shocks, and special Warlock decal. It’s a lot, but that’s not all – the interior comes with 1500 Classic’s Luxury Group, adding a leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, overhead console, 7-inch cluster display, LED bed lighting, and power foldaway mirrors.
Now that we know what we’re dealing with, let’s look at the Mojave Sand Package and how it will affect our Ram 1500 Classic Warlock. Mostly an appearance package, it won’t add anything to the capabilities of the trim. If consumers were to add on the Mojave Sand Package, their Ram 1500 Classic Warlock would come with a sport performance hood, black-painted 20-inch aluminum wheels, and get a Mojave Sand exterior color paint job. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but the Mojave Sand Package was once exclusive to the Ram 1500 Rebel, and if the interior is as good, consumers may find an all-black interior cabin with high-back bucket front seats with black embroidery and ribbed with a tire tread pattern and deep rubber floor mats embossed with gray Ram’s head logos.
For now, we know that the Mojave Sand Package follows the standard configuration choices of the Ram 1500 Classic Warlock. That means consumers get to choose this option with either a Quad Cab or Crew Cab configuration. Consumers may also choose this option with either the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or the legendary 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine. The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock is also available with a 4×2 or 4×4 drivetrain. If interested in just the Warlock trim, consumers can pick from the following exterior colors for their paint job – Blue Streak, Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Diamond Black, Delmonico Red, Flame Red, Granite Crystal Metallic, Maximum Steel, Pearl White, and True Blue.
“The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock continues to prove that value never goes out of style…With the addition of the popular Mojave Sand exterior paint option, this truck will continue to resonate positively with buyers.” – Reid Bigland, Head of Ram Brand
At the moment, the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock Mojave Sand edition is on sale with a starting MSRP of $35,345. Come to Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and ask us about how you can order one.
