New Ram Advertising Campaign Debuts

It’s about that time of year. A time where automakers start to ramp up their lineups and models with new marketing material. Names from within the new Stellantis group definitely tend to put together ads and marketing campaigns around the springtime. We’re hoping Chrysler will return with Kathryn Hahn, especially after her role in the critically acclaimed WandaVision. The Multiverse of Madness in 2022 can’t get here soon enough. For now though, the Ram Truck brand has launched its new advertising campaign, “I’m a Ram”, with music from five-time Grammy-winning Artist Chris Stapleton.

There are three videos in all (we linked one below), and each video is dedicated to one of the many features that make Ram trucks long-lasting winners in the light duty pickup segment. The video we linked shows off the pickup truck’s payload capabilities, able to help clean up a mess and clear out the debris from a storm. Of course, the man in the video is also one heck of a neighbor. Another video highlights the towing capabilities of a Ram truck with a woman who rents a couple of horses for a community playground, and we’ve all seen how huge horse trailers are. Finally, known to expand its off-road capabilities, the Ram 1500 and 1500 Rebel have gone above and beyond with off-road packages, and the third video demonstrates this as the driver follows two motorbikes around an obstacle course.
Set for TV broadcast, digital uploads on Ram brand social media channels Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, the campaign above, titled “Neighbor”, and the second ad spot, “Provider,” debuted during the NCAA March Madness telecast. For an extended look with bits of all three ads, including splices with clips of Chris Stapleton, an extended 60-second version of the ad, dubbed “Anthem” has also been uploaded to YouTube, along with the others. Each has its own story, complimented by “I’m A Ram”.
This all comes following the three MotorTrend Truck of the Year winners, the Ram 1500, Ram Heavy Duty and the Ram 1500 TRX. Back in December 2020, Ram Trucks won the MotorTrend Truck of the Year title for the third year in a row. That’s quite the achievement for the pickup truck automaker, especially since three models were selected. In the last 11 years since Ram went solo, 2021 marks the sixth time the automaker received the MotorTrend Truck of the Year award. Fancy that.
