Aventura Mopar 80 Years

This year, Mopar is celebrating 80 years of changing the auto world. Born on August 1st, 1937, they’ve done a lot of good and have evolved with the changing automarket. Originally, Mopar started out by selling car products. Now, they’re a leading brand in custom auto parts and so much more.

It all started as a combination of the words “Motor” and “Parts”, and over the last decade, Mopar has introduced new ideas and changed the standards for automobiles today. They don’t just offer custom auto parts anymore, although those are always a great way to really get the most power out of that Dodge Challenger.

Mopar also has its own brand of warranty protection for FCA vehicles, Mopar Complete 360. They have a hand in the making of the new 2017 Dodge Challenger T/A and 2017 Charger Daytona series, and introduced some new concepts at SEMA last year. They even had some vehicle firsts that, surprisingly, the automarket never thought of before Mopar came along:

– Vehicle information smartphone apps

– Have a tablet-based technical service lane tool (wiAdvisor)

– First to market electronic vehicle tracking systems, currently becoming popular for parents of teen drivers

– Turned automobiles into WiFi hot spots

– Introduced electronic owner manuals in DVD format

Today, Mopar serves customers in over 150 markets and has a portfolio featuring 500,000+ parts and accessories for getting the best out of many FCA vehicles. Some dealerships even have Mopar on their service team for getting the job done. Which, by the way, our service center has some of Mopar’s most popular auto parts in stock. They even won the 2016 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Manufacturers Cup with their 2016 Dodge enhancements.

Mopar has come a long way since their start in 1937. What will they come up with next?
