In 2022, the Jeep® brand was voted as the “Most Patriotic” brand for its 20th year running. And why not? Jeep has been around since 1941, first making off-road vehicles for the army, and eventually entering civilian life with a whole lineup of SUVs. It all started with the Wrangler, and the automaker has expanded to the likes of the Jeep Gladiator truck, branching off into premium SUVs like the Wagoneer, and is even going electric, starting with plug-in hybrid SUVs like the Wrangler 4xe. A year later, and 20 turns into 21, with the Jeep brand voted “Most Patriotic” once again according to the Brand Keys Most Patriotic Brands survey.

“It’s fantastic when a brand such as Jeep stands for something important and meaningful to consumers…Patriotism is one of the most powerful values around, crossing political, social and ethnic lines. It resonates 365 days a year. When it comes to engaging consumers, it provides an authentic and believable foundation. Patriotism provides an extraordinarily strong strategic advantage. Consumers know it. Consumers feel it. More importantly, they act on it! Jeep brand has been the Most Patriotic Brand in America for 22 years in a row, the kind of emotional connection few brands ever attain. We congratulate them!” – Robert Passikoff, president of Brand Keys

Consumers were surveyed on which brand they felt was the most patriotic and embodied the value of patriotism in 2023, and it was none other than Jeep once again. Known as the off-road automaker we love, Jeepers can attest to the strong standing the brand has in the U.S. Not only this, but Jeep has been known to pay respects to the army and those who serve in the military. The Jeep brand’s Military Incentive Program aids active, active reserve, retired military, retired military reserve, 100% disabled veterans, and honorably discharged veterans (within 12 months of discharge date) military personnel in purchasing a Jeep (if eligible for) with a military bonus cash to use towards select 2023 vehicles. Jeep has also been known to release military-themed SUVs with the Freedom Package.

So how did the Brand Keys Most Patriotic Brands survey come to this conclusion? Conducted through the year of 2022 for 2023, the 2022 rankings were determined after Brand Keys surveyed more than 5,800 consumers, 16 to 65 years of age. To make sure all variables were considered, the survey was also balanced for gender and political affiliations. After assessing 1,172 brands in 131 business-to-consumer and business-to-business categories, the surveys were ranked based on Brand Keys emotional engagement measures. Not really an official unit of measurement, but this was used to evaluate brand resonance for the single value of patriotism.

Even if not an active or retired military personnel, Jeepers can still get into a premium owner loyalty and customer care program available to the entire Jeep 4×4 lineup, the Jeep Wave program. Filled with benefits and exclusive benefits for Jeep vehicle owners, plus a dedicated 24/7 support team, Jeep Wave is a great card to have in your pocket. Looking to become a Jeeper, too?
