Jeep Unveils 2022 Wrangler High Tide for Upcoming Jeep Beach week
Every year, Jeep hosts the Easter Jeep Safari event, a get together for Jeepers, Jeep owners, and fans. Whether looking for aftermarket accessories to customize your Jeep vehicle, interested in the assortment of events, such as trail riding and plenty of time to socialize with other Jeepers, it’s a great time for all. It’s also when Jeep teases possible, but very unlikely to go into production, concepts. Easter Jeep Safari isn’t the only big event in the country, though. Every year, Jeepers from all over Florida also get in on the fun with Jeep Beach week in Daytona Beach, Florida.
“Along with Easter Jeep Safari in Moab each year, Jeep Beach week in Daytona Beach, Florida, is one of the largest Jeep vehicle events in the country, attracting more than 200,000 visitors and 20,000 Jeep SUVs in 2021 alone…We listen to our customers, so we are celebrating their passion for beach-ready vehicles during this multiday event with the Wrangler High Tide and Jeep Beach special editions, as well as introducing our newest high-impact, High Velocity yellow exterior color.” – Jim Morrison, vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America
Sounds like a fun time, and for those who want to join, Jeep Beach 2022 will be taking place between April 24, 2022 – May 1, 2022. To celebrate another year beachside, Jeep is kicking off 2022 with some style and a new vibrant High Velocity yellow exterior color available across the Wrangler lineup. Also new, the 2022 Wrangler High Tide and Wrangler Jeep Beach special-edition models will show up at the event, redesigned to offer vehicles made for a day in the sand – even if it is technically illegal to drive on the beach.
The 2022 Jeep Wrangler High Tide comes with an assortment of goodies, based on the Sport S model and powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6. Starting off with the Xtreme Recon Package, the Wrangler High Tide gets 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires, 17-inch by 8-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a 4.56 rear axle ratio, 1.5-inch factory suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks, hinge-gate reinforcement by Mopar, a jack spacer by Mopar, tire relocation kit by Mopar, and wheel flare extensions. That’s just all the goodies for going off-road. The 2022 Jeep Wrangler High Tide also comes outfitted with a body-color hardtop, LED headlamps and fog lamps, rock rails, a Sunrider Fliptop for the hard top, Gorilla Glass windshield, sand/slush mats for days at the beach, and of course, High Tide hood decals. All of this for the suggested MSRp of $49,240 (plus destination fee).
For those of you who are more of a collector, the first 500 Wrangler High Tide vehicles will make up the exclusive Jeep Beach model lineup. The only real difference is special Jeep Beach hood decals. Same MSRP, so it’s just the bragging rights of having one of the first 500 units. Regardless of which model consumers get, both are available five exterior colors – Hydro Blue, Black, Bright White, StingGray, and the new High Velocity yellow. This is the new yellow, following Hella Yella available from the 2018-21 model years on the Jeep Wrangler JL. The new High Velocity exterior paint option is also being made available for all Wrangler models, including Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe, and 392 for an additional $395.
