Who is the number one off-road 4×4 automaker known for adventure and personalization? If the name “Jeep®” comes to mind, that’s the correct answer. Not only is it an all-American brand, dating back to its days as a U.S. Army vehicle, Jeep is also known for its trail-rated off-road models and customization that is second-to-none. Whether consumers want to remove doors or trade in a hard top for a soft top, Jeep offers that and more. Like Dodge, Jeep also has its own bright collection of colors that come out every now and then. This year, the Jeep brand announced the return of the Tuscadero paint job for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler to celebrate 4×4 Day 2024.

This is one color that really stands out amongst all the greys and dark hues most vehicles we tend to see on the road. A deep and intense chromatic magenta, the Jeep may as well be neon lights in the dark. We haven’t seen this paint job for over a decade, and the surprise return is sure to build a lot of anticipation for Jeeper veterans and new consumers.

“Some 30,000 customers placed an order for Tuscadero when it first debuted in 2021…We’re always looking to deliver what our customers tell us they want, so we’re ‘tickled pink’ to bring back the highly sought-after Tuscadero paint shade on Jeep Wrangler to mark 4×4 Day 2024.” – Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America

Whenever we see a new eye-catching color like this, we think of the High-Impact Paint (HIP) colors that have made up the colorful heritage of Dodge. Jeep is a close cousin when it comes to bold moves when releasing one of its vivid, special-run, limited-edition colors. The Tuscadero is one of the legendary colors in a lengthy lineup that includes Gobi, Gecko, Chief, and Nacho. Brought back for 2024 for the new Jeep Wrangler, it’s one of nine exterior paint colors consumers can choose. Other choices include another new color for 2024, Anvil, plus Earl, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Hydro Blue, Bright White, and Black.

Consumers looking to own a Jeep Wrangler in Tuscadero paint don’t have to wait. Available for order now, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler with Tuscadero has a U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $895. The paint job will only be available on the following trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and Rubicon 392. That’s all of the trim choice levels for the 2024 model year, so basically, any 2024 Jeep Wrangler will do. Consumers also have the choice of pairing the 2024 Jeep Wrangler with Tuscadero paint with a black hardtop, body-color hardtop, or black soft-top. If looking for something more convenient, the Sky One-Touch powertop in the 2024 Jeep Wrangler with Tuscadero paint will be made available in the late second quarter of 2024. So, more or less sometime this summer, since Q2 ends in June.
