“We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our armed forces and the brave men and women who serve them. These Built to Serve models are just one way we honor those who have selflessly served our country…Whether civilian or military, Ram truck owners are very familiar with this adage as it’s something we strive to build into every truck and van we produce.” – Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand Chief Executive Officer – Stellantis

That’s right. We’ve finally come to the end of the Ram Built to Serve editions of the 1500 pickup truck lineup. Now in its fifth and final phase, Ram Trucks has been designing and releasing special editions of this legendary light duty truck to match America’s five land, sea and air-based armed forces. What started back in 2019, every phase that rolled out came with colors to match its respective branch. The second wave of Built to Serve Ram Trucks was the nautical edition, followed by an aeronautical-inspired theme, and then a maritime land force-inspired theme for those battling underwater dangers.

Ending on a hot note, pun-intended, the fifth installment of these trucks ends with a maritime force-inspired theme with both Spitfire and Bright White available as the exterior colors. Inside the cabin, throughout the black interior is orange accent stitching for a little bit of flair. Just like the rest of the lineup of Built to Serve trucks, a limited number of each will be produced, with only 500 units in Spitfire, and another 750 units with a Bright White paint job – methinks a flash bomb was in mind for this one.

Every “Built to Serve” Edition Ram 1500 pickup truck will come with more than just a fancy paint job. Many features adorn each unit, including 20-inch aluminum wheels with a unique-to-the-edition Technical Gray finish, a blacked-out treatment with all-black grille and surround, black bumpers and black-bezel premium lighting, black badges, black wheel-to-wheel side steps, and dual four-inch black exhaust tips. Each cabin comes with “Built to Serve”-embroidered Velcro panels on the front seats and on each front seat inboard shoulder panel for adding on personal flair. If that’s not enough, each unit of this special edition adds a “Built to Serve” instrument panel badge, lockable console storage (optional), deeply bolstered cloth and vinyl Sport seats, Black Onyx Chrome interior trim, and all-weather rubber slush mats.

Looking for more action? Each Ram Built to Serve edition is made for off-road adventure, loaded up with features from the 4×4 Off-Road Group package. This includes all-terrain tires, an electronic-locking rear axle, kill-descent control, a front suspension skid plate, as steering gear skid plate, a fuel tank skid plate, transfer case skid plate, tow hooks, and heavy-duty off-road-calibrated front and rear shock absorbers. Best of all, Ram Built to Serve edition packages are available on all body styles and all powertrains. Yes, there are no limits to the Built to Serve edition except for the limited production run.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone. This isn’t like Dodge where the Viper has been “discontinued” three times, or every year a more powerful vehicle is released. This is Ram Trucks, and limited edition means limited edition. Find your Built to Serve Ram 1500 at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram today.
