Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram Win 2021 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards from AutoPacific

As we draw ever nearer to the end of the year, automotive organizations and publications start to come out of the woodwork, or more like paperwork, and finally release data, analysis, and lists. Many of these lists have to do with awards – maybe not an award show like the Grammys, but an award nonetheless, and I’m sure it’s something physical, tangible, so a business can hang it on a wall or something. The most recent automotive name to pop up is AutoPacific, having recently wrapped up its 2021 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. Like every year, brands from FCA; Stellantis land on the list – Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram.
AutoPacific is a well-known name in the industry, trusted for its future-oriented automotive marketing research and product-consulting with many brands. Also a publication, AutoPacific informs consumers, supplying them with up-to-date information on the latest and newest vehicles for prospective consumers currently in the market and looking. During every Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, AutoPacific measures owner satisfaction across 27 individual vehicle attributes, right from AutoPacific’s New Vehicle Satisfaction Survey to find the best cars, SUVs, and light trucks available today. According to the consumer, the Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep® Grand Cherokee, and Ram 1500 are some of the best vehicles out there.
“Families continue to realize that a minivan can be the best vehicle for daily, kid-filled runabouts and the Pacifica delivers with impressive braking and handling, sliding doors that allow for easy access to the second row, exterior styling, passenger roominess and overall comfort. Owners give high praise for the Ram 1500’s power and acceleration, soft ride, driver’s seat visibility, looks, braking, overall comfort, and clever cargo storage solutions. While the Grand Cherokee is an all-new model for the 2021 model year with a lucrative new three-row L taking the stage first, the previous generation Grand Cherokee is a renown trophy holder in AutoPacific’s VSAs, with consumers ranking it the most satisfying midsize SUV eight out of the nine past years.” – George Peterson, AutoPacific president
This award from AutoPacific just adds the title of “Most Satisfying Minivan” to the already long list, about 155 honors and accolades for the Chrysler Pacifica since its introduction. The Jeep Grand Cherokee took the spot for the Most Satisfying Mid-size SUV/ORV, and the Ram 1500 continues to be a legend as the Most Satisfying Full-size Pickup. Out of all the surveys sent out, more than 89,000 new car and light truck owners responded this year to provide the data to choose the winners.
We can expect many more awards coming out over the next few months, with plenty of “Best of” lists to look forward to. These days, Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram are the big three from Stellantis, with each offering a sensible vehicle that serves a purpose. Dodge//SRT, more geared to high-performance muscle cars, has become a bit of a niche, constantly going for more horsepower. With models like the Challenger SRT Super Stock, capable of generating 807 horsepower and starting at MSRP of $79,595 (plus destination fee), it’s crazy to think there are a lot of consumers out there to make the production worthwhile. With the new eMuscle Dodge is working on for 2024, we’re looking forward to what the automaker can do while staying relevant and close to its roots.
