2023 “MotorTrend Presents Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge” is Almost Here

“MotorTrend Presents Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge” is right around the corner, and muscle car enthusiasts are getting pumped! For a lot of fans, this could be the last time anyone sees a gasoline-powered Dodge vehicle in action. With the muscle car automaker going electric with eMuscle, this year marks the final year for the current generation of the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger. We’ve already seen the 2023 Dodge Hornet GT and GT Plus as the last hurrah for gasoline models, also said to show up at Roadkill Nights with the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept close behind. Now, we’ve got a music lineup started, with award-winning musician and actor, Ice Cube headlining the day-long horsepower festival.
Returning for its eighty year, “MotorTrend Presents Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge” is a one-day event that features family-friendly and thrill-seeking activities that everyone can enjoy. A celebration of horsepower and adrenaline, it all starts on August 12, 2023, in downtown Pontiac, Michigan at the corner of Woodward Avenue and West Pike Street. Guests can join the crowd in cheering during the marquee street-legal drag-racing competition “Direct Connection Grudge Race,” as well as take their time to feast their eyes on the classic and modern muscle car cruise
Offering guests a chance to experience upcoming Dodge eMuscle vehicles first-hand, there’s also an all-new Dodge Hornet drive, and Dodge vehicle displays including the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept, and Dodge product displays. To keep high-octane performance alive, Roadkill Nights also has Dodge Demon drag race simulators, displays for Direct Connection performance parts and RC car demonstrations. To top it all off, like any major festival, there is a vendor midway, beer gardens, entertainment, food trucks, celebrity appearances, and much, much more.
Surely there will be more musicians to offer music all-day-long, but Ice Cube will be wrapping up the evening with his performance at 7:30 p.m. EDT on the mainstage. Tens of thousands of gearheads in the metro Detroit area will be there, making this more like a concert than your everyday festival. There’s also the hit show, a one-of-a-kind taste of Automotive Chaos Theory by Roadkill.
With tickets already available, consumers can go to Roadkill Nights by buying their tickets at motortrend.com/roadkillnights-2023/.
