2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition Coming Soon
Before the Ram 1500 Rebel TRX was unveiled, there was another monster of a truck that made trousers drop all around the world. If you could take a guess, would it be the Ram Power Wagon? If so, then you would be correct! The Ram Power Wagon, able to handle going off-road and tow over 16,0000 pounds, it was a treat for the pickup truck world. Recently, the new model for the Ram Power Wagon was spotted, and once the box is opened you can’t just close it again. Instead of keeping it under wraps, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA; Stellantis) gave the call to release the 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition.
“The 2021 Ram Power Wagon is the most capable production off-road truck in the industry…There are few vehicles with as long and as rich a history as the Power Wagon and, combined with our new Ram 1500 TRX, the launch of the 75th Anniversary Edition reinforces Ram Truck’s position as the off-road truck leader.” – Mike Koval Jr., Head of Ram Brand
Being a special 75th Anniversary Edition, there are bound to be some great highlights inside-and-out, and there are, starting with the unique “Power Wagon 75 Years of Service” door badge on the exterior. Getting its own style to separate it from others, the black grille mesh comes with a Gunmetal R-A-M grille badge, Diamond Black door, tailgate graphics, and rock rails with side-step capability. Speaking of rocky terrain, going off-road just got a little better with premium headlamps with Gloss Black surrounds and new 17-inch painted cast aluminum beadlock-capable wheels with 33-inch tires for pushing the Power Wagon to its full potential.
The 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition features a unique suspension, factory lift, electronic transfer case, locking front and rear differentials, electronic disconnecting front sway bar and a 12,000-lb. WARN Zeon-12 winch with synthetic line, all standard. The Ram Power Wagon also features a 360-degree camera, with forward-view camera gridlines to help navigate obstacles in the way. For some personalization, consumers can get a Diamond Black Crystal paint job in monotone or a two-tone exterior color paint-job with the following colors – Maximum Steel Metallic, Granite Crystal Metallic, Billet Silver Metallic, Hydro Blue, Patriot Blue, Delmonico Red, Flame Red, Bright White, Olive Green, Molten Orange and Anvil.
Let’s not forget about the interior, featuring premium Mountain Brown leather upholstery with new bucket seats, matched with a commemorative “Power Wagon 75” logo and door inserts, Gloss Black instrument panel inserts, center console and dashboard badges, and a dark brushed aluminum radio surround with Piano Black Silverline accents. It all brings the center console and dashboard of the Power Wagon together. Highlighting the infotainment system, Uconnect 4C NAV on a 12-inch fully configurable screen has been equipped with the SiriusXM 360L customized listening experience. Blast those tunes with the 750-watt, 17-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Like the TRX, the Power Wagon is getting Off-road Pages that show ride height, transfer case position, pitch and roll, and accessory gauges to give drivers optimum control.
The Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary Edition has a starting MSRP of $65,250 (plus destination fee). Trucks will start arriving at dealerships by the end of 2020. Contact us at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram to order yours.
