What’s New for the 2025 Jeep Compass
JeepⓇ has such a long line of lineups, but they’re most SUVs – except for the Jeep Gladiator pickup truck. So many SUVs, it’s easy to forget about some of them. One Jeep SUV almost no one thinks about is the Jeep Compass. There seemed like a time the automaker was going to discontinue this subcompact SUV, but it’s still going strong. Returning for 2025, there isn’t much change, but nothing a new coat of paint can’t fix. Check out what’s new for the 2025 Jeep Compass.
What’s New
For 2025, Jeep is adding a new limited-edition Joose exterior color. It won’t be available until later in the model year, so don’t expect it right away. We’ll most likely see it closer to mid-2015 right around the time 2016 models pop up.
Powertrain
The trim lineup is still the same, consisting of the Sport, Latitude, Latitude LUX, Limited, and Trailhawk. Like the 2024 Jeep Compass, the 2025 model is powered by a 2.0-liter I4 DOHC turbo engine with Stop/Start technology, able to produce 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. For those that want to go off-road, the Jeep Compass is no slouch, equipped with a selec-terrain management system standard, and offers a Jeep® Active Drive Low 4×4 system that offers a 20:1 crawl ratio and low range modes.
Exterior and Interior Features
To spice things up, the Latitude trim can add the Altitude Package for bold 18-inch gloss black wheels and gloss black exterior accent. The Limited trim can also get some extras with the return of the High Altitude Package for the 2025 model year, adding more towing power and a touches of luxury. Other than that, the Compass returns with its assortment of standard features: heated exterior mirrors are standard, plus automatic headlamps, LED reflector headlamps, and deep-tint sunscreen glass are standard. It’s quite the collection for a Jeep vehicle, known to keep all the goodies for high-tier trims. That includes supplemental turn signals on the Limited and Trailhawk trims, plus automatic high-beam headlamp-control, Altitude bi-function LED projector headlamps, LED tail lamps, and a power liftgate past the base Sport trim.
Inside, cloth upholstery is always the standard, with premium cloth on the Latitude, leatherette on the Latitude LUX and Limited, and premium leather on the Trailhawk trim. Standard features include a 6-way manually-adjustable driver’s seat with the possibility to upgrade to a 2-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a 60/40 folding rear seat. Upgraded features past the Latitude include an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. For additional comfort, consumers can add a dual-zone a/c automatic climate control system past the base trim.
Technology
As usual, Uconnect 5 on a 10.1-inch touchscreen display is the standard setup, capable of Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, Alexa Built-in (with Wi-Fi), and come with A SiriusXM Satellite Radio trial, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot trials, Jeep Connected Services, steering wheel-mounted audio control. Plus navigation and HD Radio past the Latitude trim. For safety, there are plenty of advanced safety features standard, included are blind-spot and cross-path detection, full-speed forward-collision warning plus, a ParkView® and rear back-up camera.
