The Chrysler Voyager Returns for 2025

Does anyone remember the Chrysler Voyager? If not, it’s not too surprising. The Chrysler Voyager was basically a more handy-capable version of the Chrysler Pacifica minivan. It lasted for two years, and then vanished, made exclusive to commercial fleets and public transportation services. Well, for anyone who missed out on their chance to buy a new Chrysler Voyager in 2022, they’re in luck. The Chrysler Voyager returns for 2025.
Starting at an MSRP of $41,690 (plus destination fee), it’s still less affordable than the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica base model. Surprisingly, the Voyager 2025 model year isn’t really all that different for its re-release. Don’t expect a huge change in terms of powertrain. This is a minivan after all, and the Voyager looks like the classic Pacifica before the facelift and the all-wheel drive (AWD) was added. Under the hood is a 3.6-liter V6 engine, optimized with variable valve timing (VVT), able to generate 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. More likely than not, it will still come with an Electric Start-Stop system and a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The exterior style hasn’t changed, but three paint jobs are available – Red Hot, Diamonds Black, and Bright White. Inside is where things get a little more swanky. Already coming with some features the regular Pacifica didn’t, the Voyager was designed for greater accessibility, equipped with BraunAbility rear- and side-entry conversions, a wider entryway, and an enhanced ramp securement system. A black Stow ‘n Place roof rack was installed for transporting equipment, and the Voyager actually offered three-zone climate control. The 2025 model will return with these features, as well as the Stow ‘n’ Go seating system that makes it easy to slide the second- and third-row seats into the floor for a flat cargo area. For a little extra style, the standard power-sliding rear doors open to Black Caprice leatherette seats with stitching in a Light Diesel hue.
As for technology, the Pacifica is one minivan that keeps on top of what’s new. Like the Pacifica, the Voyager will share these benefits with a Uconnect 5 infotainment system running on a 10.1-inch touchscreen display. Capable of Bluetooth, Amazon Alexa voice control, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with voice recognition, the Voyager brings back plenty of its older features in the 2022 model while adding some new ones. This includes the same 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster as the Pacifica, making for almost 20-inches of digital space in the dashboard.
If there’s one thing Chrysler likes to brag about, it’s the many safety features they Pacifica is known for. The Voyager originally offered Blind-spot Monitoring, ParkSense rear park assist, Rear Cross Path detection, Full-speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus with Pedestrian AEB. For 2025, adaptive cruise control is being added to the suite of safety features.
Yeah, it seems like most of the same features make a return with some slight upgrades here and there, so it makes sense that the MSRP is still on the lower end of the Chrysler lineup. The Voyager also comes with a single trim level, so all of the features mentioned above are standard. That’s a nice little plus for the minivan. Orders for the Voyager are now open, and you can find the new Chrysler Voyager at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
