Sneak Peek: 2018 Jeep Wrangler Interior and Test Drive [VIDEO]

November 14th, 2017 by

News about the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler just keeps getting better. With only a few weeks until the vehicle makes its official debut at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show in December, FCA continues to tease what they can about this off-road wonder, and this time it’s a look at the interior. If you thought a Jeep Wrangler couldn’t look any nicer, prepare to be proven wrong. The new 2018 Jeep Wrangler looks amazing.

Going for a bit of a retro-modern style, the dashboard has been flattened for an old-school vibe, but a plethora of technology sits in the center console. It all starts with an eight-inch Uconnect touchscreen, down to automatic climate control and integrated buttons for traction control, available heated seats, and a heated steering wheel. Powertrain and drivetrain functions have also been shifted around with a single differential lock button transitioned into an intuitive front/rear toggle switch just above the transfer case. The sway bar disconnect is also in the center stack, along with other off-road features to make everything flow as smoothly as possible.

Of course, these are pictures of the interior, so what about all the off-road capability the Jeep Wrangler is known for? Do we really have to wait until December to see it in action? No, we don’t. To show off the new look, not only is the interior and exterior painted cherry red to really make it pop, but it shows up well in all the photos and test videos (seen below).
