Ram Releases Special Lunar Editions for Rebel and TRX Trims
The Ram Truck automaker has been a little quiet since it released its Apex Predator, the Ram Rebel TRX model. A monster of a pickup truck, capable of towing and going off road, this truck can also accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and run a quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds – a huge achievement for truck fans. With 2023 heading towards the midway point, Ram finally breaks the silence with two new special edition trims joining the light-duty lineup for the 2023 Ram 1500 – the exclusive new 2023 Ram 1500 Rebel and TRX Lunar editions.

The moon is quite the stellar object in the night sky, and with many meteor showers this year, sometimes it can be a little too bright and outshine such stellar experiences. That isn’t the case for these two Lunar editions of the 2023 Ram 1500, because all eyes will be on the road when these beauties shine. Starting with a unique Ceramic Gray exterior color for the paint job, each model gets its own pieces of flare to show off the new Lunar edition. This in addition to the line of exclusive, limited-run colors already offered for the segment’s benchmark for power and performance, the TRX, plus the exclusive, limited-run colors offered on the 1500 Rebel.
Ram 1500 Rebel Lunar Edition
Known for its off-road performance and unique exterior design, the Rebel Lunar Edition can add the Rebel Level 2 equipment group for greater personalization and more power. We’re talking about the 5.7-liter HEMI eTorque V8 engine, able to generate up to 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque standard, plus an additional 130 lb-ft of torque thanks to the eTorque engine (standard on the Limited trim but available on most of the lineup). Unique to the Lunar Edition, the Ram 1500 Rebel Lunar Edition adds to the exterior a Rebel graphic on the hood and bed, black badging on the bumper and grille, and 18-inch gloss black wheels. This is, of course, in addition to the new exclusive Ceramic Gray exterior paint color. Inside, the Rebel Lunar Edition features a 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen with Off-road Pages, black sideview mirrors, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, and an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat. The starting price of the Ram 1500 Rebel Lunar Edition is $70,310 (plus destination fee).
Ram 1500 TRX Lunar Edition
Featuring a unique combination of technology, graphics, performance and exterior appearance straight from the factory, consumers will be getting plenty of additions to shine with the Ram 1500 TRX Lunar Edition. Standard with the well-appointed TRX Level 2 Equipment Group, the TRX comes with a TRX hood and bed graphics, 18-inch black bead-lock capable wheels, dual pane panoramic sunroof, spray-in bedliner, cargo tie-downs, bed step, an LED cab-mounted brake light, and the unique Ceramic Gray exterior color for the paint job. The interior gets spruced up with TRX Lunar Edition includes Surf Blue accent stitching, an embroidered “TRX” seat back logo, carbon fiber accents, a leather and carbon fiber flat–bottom steering wheel, unique center console badge, and a Head-up Display. On top of all this, the Ram 1500 TRX Lunar Edition also comes with some advanced safety features, including adaptive cruise control, Lane Keep Assist, and pedestrian emergency braking. This hot look just adds to the power of the Ram 1500 TRX, equipped with a high-performance 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI® V8 engine able to generate 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and run a quarter mile in 12.9 seconds at 108 mph (top speed of 118 mph). The starting price of the 2023 Ram 1500 TRX Lunar Edition is $106,445 (plus destination fee).
Both special edition models, the Ram 1500 Rebel Lunar and Ram 1500 TRX Lunar editions, will be available in very limited quantities later this spring (2023).
