Aventura 2017 Jeep CompassIt’s official ladies and gents – a new Jeep vehicle is making its way to the states. Not too long ago, Jeep announced a reduction of its Compass, Patriot, and Wrangler lineups. It was believed that Jeep planned to put out a new vehicle to replace the Compass and Patriot models (check out the ComPatriot), but that doesn’t seem to be the case because Jeep just unveiled an all-new 2017 Jeep Compass.

The announcement about the all-new Compass was made at a Brazilian manufacturing plant. Jeep has revealed a few pictures and a few details, but more information will be available at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show in November. But, here is what we do know about the all-new 2017 Jeep Compass.

The new compact SUV model takes some design cues from both the Grand Cherokee and the  Renegade. The 2017 model is curvier than it used to be as Jeep got rid of many of the vehicle’s harsh angles, but the wheel arches are still a little boxy.

Lending to Jeep’s expansion around the world, selling vehicles in over 100 countries, all with their own regulations concerning fuel and emissions, the new Compass will offer 17 different fuel-efficient engine and transmission options. By the time the Compass is released, Jeep will be nearing a total of 2 million global sales.

The 2017 Compass will have a trim set up with Jeep’s legendary 4×4 off-road capability. That’s right, the new Compass will have a Trailhawk model with red tow hooks and “superior on-road driving dynamics.” According to marketing promos, the new Compass will be a “breath of fresh air,” and honestly, it’s about time.

The all-new 2017 Jeep Compass is expected to be available to consumers in early 2017. In the meantime, you can search our available Jeep Compass  models and other Jeep models at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, located in North Miami.
