The end of an era, and possibly the end of work trucks, is here. Find one of the last new Ram 1500 Classic pickup trucks at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.

Made for consumers who like a good truck, but designed for getting work done, the Ram 1500 Classic only comes in two trims – Tradesman or Warlock. Consumers have a variety of configuration options, where the Tradesman has access to a Crew Cab with a 5’7” bed box or a 6’4” bed box, or a Quad Cab with a 6’4” bed box. For the Warlock, a Crew Cab with a 5’7” bed box or a Quad Cab with a 6’4” bed box is available. This makes things simple for the consumer to find the right 1500 Classic they need. Then comes the powertrain.

The standard powertrain 3.6-liter V6 optimized with variable valve timing (VVT), able to generate 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, and paired with an 8-speed transmission. Like the last new Ram 1500 Classic pickup truck, the second option is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine optimized with VVT, and a multi-displacement system (MDS) to improve fuel economy, able to generate 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, and also paired with an 8-speed transmission. When properly equipped, consumers can get a maximum payload capacity of 1810 pounds, and a towing capacity of 10,520 pounds when properly equipped (and with a Quad Cab with a 6’4” bed box only) for either 2024 Ram 1500 Classic model.

Heated exterior mirrors, automatic headlamps, a rear fixed-window, and tinted glass windows and windshield are the basics for a work truck, and standard on the Ram 1500 Classic. If looking for extra style, LED fog lamps and wheel flares come with the Warlock trim. Consumers also have options to customize their vehicle, such as badges and decals, side steps by Mopar, and a tri-fold tonneau cover. Based on the kind of terrain the consumer will be driving in, 17-wheels are standard, with the option to upgrade to 20-inch wheels.

Designed for multi-purpose, the Ram 1500 Classic features two choices for the interior as well. The standard setup comes with a (1) 40/20/40 split bench seat with Heavy-Duty Vinyl or Cloth upholstery, or (2) rear 60/40 split folding seat and manually adjustable driver and front passenger seat. The Warlock comes with premium-cloth trimmed bucket seats for the driver and front passenger, and a sunroof. 1 0-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic a/c, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel are many options consumers can select when customizing their Ram 1500 Classic pickup truck.

The standard technology is also fair for a work truck, consisting of a 5-inch touchscreen display with Uconnect 3 and a six-speaker sound system. Only the Warlock trims can opt-in for Uconnect 5 on a 9.4-inch touchscreen, or Uconnect 4C with navigation (NAV). If choosing a new Ram 1500 Warlock trim, consumers also get Bluetooth integrated voice command, Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, HD Radio, and can opt-in for Ram Connected Services via Ram Connect and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. If that Delmonico Red paint job isn’t enough oomp, the Warlock also offers the option of an Alpine nine-speaker sound system with subwoofer upgrade.

Amongst basic safety standards like a rear back-up camera, the 2024 Ram 1500 Classic comes with full-speed forward-collision warning plus, and adds a ParkSense rear park assist system to the Ram 1500 Warlock trim level.

Covered by a basic 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, and a 5-year/100,000-mile diesel powertrain warranty, a Ram 1500 Classic can handle a little beating with work-focused lifestyle.
