Jeep Releases Two New Jurassic Park Graphics Packages
If there’s one thing Jeepers like more than going off-road and having adventures, it’s customizing their vehicles. Able to remove the roof, windshield, doors, and windows, Jeepers can also modify a Jeep (if they own it) with a snorkel for water-fording and mudding. It’s a lot, but sometimes, it can also be simple, like adding a graphic or decal from the Jeep Badge of Honor program. Well, Jeep® knows this, and thanks to the appearances of Jeep vehicles in the legendary “Jurassic Park” films, Jeep is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original 1993 “Jurassic Park” film with the launch of an exclusive, limited Jurassic Park Package.

This new package has been made available for the Jeep Wrangler, Wrangler 4xe and Gladiator. A collection of graphics, they’ve all been inspired by the 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ Sahara vehicles that had a part to play in the original film. A total of two packages, each comes with mostly come with the same stuff. The Jurassic Park Package 1, with a starting MSRP of $550 (in addition to the starting MSRP of the above models) adds Jurassic Park logo door graphics (set of two), Jurassic Park numbered center hood graphic, Jurassic Park side hood graphics (set of two) – choice of Jeep 4×4 model, Jurassic Park numbered swing gate handle graphic – Wrangler and Wrangler 4xe only, Jurassic Park numbered fender vent graphics (set of two), and Jurassic Park numbered shifter insert with T. rex. The Jurassic Park Package 2, with a starting MSRP of $650 (in addition to the starting MSRP of the above models) adds a Jurassic Park textured Grassy Island transfer case shifter insert. Feels like an afterthought.
Although not stated in the PR, it would seem that only 100 orders are available for the Jurassic Park packages. Each will be uniquely numbered, and this usually only happens with limited-edition vehicles, so we can only suspect orders are limited too. The history between Jeep and Jurassic Park goes beyond the 1993 film. Before the release of “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” Jeep launched its own 60-second spot during the Super Bowl that paid homage to a familiar scene of the Jeep Wrangler running away from dinosaurs. Again, in the summer of 2022, the Jeep brand partnered with Universal Pictures to launch a global marketing campaign for “Jurassic World Dominion.”
