The JeepĀ® Wrangler is known as the original All-American vehicle, designed specifically for the U.S. Army back in the old day before a civilian model came out. Also known as the top of the chain for off-road adventure, every Jeep model comes with various systems available for driving off the beaten path, or on the beaten path. In 2024, the automaker decided to take the iconic Wrangler to new heights, literally, with a first for the brand – 35-inch tires with the new Xtreme 35 Tire Package, previously exclusive to the four-door model.

ā€œOur passionate Jeep Wrangler customers are always asking for more ā€“ more capability and more adventure ā€“ so itā€™s a natural follow up to the success weā€™ve seen on the four-door Wrangler to now ā€“ for the first time ever ā€“ offer the 35-inch Tire Package on the two-door Wranglerā€¦These 35-inch BF Goodrich KO2 tires on the two-door Willys and Rubicon models deliver extreme capability, including best-in-class breakover angle of 32.4 degrees, straight from the factory with a factory warranty.ā€ – Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America

The new Xtreme 35 Tire Package is being offered for the first time ever on all new 2024 Wrangler Rubicon and Willys two-door models. Originally, this package debuted on Wrangler four-door models in 2021. Now, available for the two-door model, Jeepers can continue to love the enhanced capability for their favorite model type. The number ā€œ35ā€ can be found in the moniker for this package due to the new 35-inch tires being added to the model to increase off-road capability.

Like any off-road vehicle, certain dimensions are upgraded with the new Xtreme 35 Tire Package, such as approach angle, departure angle, ground clearance, and water fording capability. For 2024, the two-door Jeep Wrangler has an approach angle of 47.2 degrees, a best-in-class breakover angle of 32.4 degrees, departure angle of 40.4 degrees, and a total ground clearance of 12.6 inches. The 2024 two-door Jeep Wrangler has a water fording capability of 34 inches.

The new Xtreme 35 Tire Package comes with more than just 35-inch tires, of course. Included in the package are 35-inch (obviously) BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires, 17-by-8-inch beadlock capable wheels, swing gate reinforcement, a 4.56:1 axle ratio for increased off-road capability, and a 1.5-inch factory suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks for extra height and ground clearance. The standard powertrain is a 2.0-liter turbo engine, able to generate 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.

Jeep has priced the new Xtreme 35 Tire Package at $4,495 on top of the U.S. manufacturerā€™s suggested retail price (MSRP) of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler trims the package is available on ā€“ the 2024 Wrangler Rubicon and Willys two-door models: $40,090 (plus destination fee) for the Willys, and $47,390 (plus destination fee) for the Rubicon. The Rubicon X two-door model with a 2.0-liter turbo engine will come standard with the new Xtreme 35 Tire Package has a starting U.S. MSRP of $62,295 (plus destination fee).
