Jeep Grand Cherokee L Wins Best Full-size SUV Award from Good Housekeeping

How are the winners elected? The Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) and Car and Driver reviewed hundreds of new vehicles for the 2022 model year. A little intense, GHI experts also drove thousands of miles on test tracks and open roads in various vehicles. All the while, several factors were taken into consideration when scoring the winners: safety, value, handling, interior design, comfort and onboard technology. Looking at family-oriented features, the Grand Cherokee L SUV was highlighted for that additional third-row that increases seating configurations, capability, and additional cargo storage options. If a vehicle has innovative technology that can improve the driving experience, bonus points are included.
The fifth-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee – the most awarded SUV ever – upped the ante when the automaker added a third row. With folding seats, the aforementioned new seating and cargo capabilities, and the easy installation of child safety seats is already helpful for parents who have kids going in between rows, or need to pack up a lot of equipment for after school activities. Still able to offer off-road performance, the Grand Cherokee L is equipped with Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II, Quadra-Lift air suspension, and the Selec-Terrain traction management system.
