Jeep Brand Celebrates 80th Anniversary with Special-Edition Models

September 28th, 2020 by

The Jeep® brand has been around for a long time, dating back all the way to 1941 if you can believe it. Doesn’t feel so long ago, but 80 years later, and Jeep is celebrating 4×4 leadership, open-air freedom, and adventure in 2020. If there was such a thing as an Anniversary for 80 years, it would be a pretty huge deal, so to celebrate the occasion, Jeep is releasing distinctive 80th Anniversary special-edition models of every vehicle in its lineup – that’s right, even the Gladiator. As an additional gift to Jeepers and Jeep consumers, the automaker is also throwing in a freebie with 2021 model year vehicles, the Jeep Wave premium service customer care program. A great deal included with a great vehicle.

“After nearly 80 years, the Jeep brand remains true to the original SUV by continuing to deliver legendary 4×4 capability that has enabled countless adventures and open-air freedom…As we celebrate our 80th anniversary, we’re pleased to provide our customers with 80th Anniversary models that offer a unique appearance, great value and loads of safety and technology features.” – Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA North America

Jeep Wave Customer Care Program

If you never heard about the Jeep Wave Customer Care Program, you’re either not a Jeeper or you’re missing out. The program offers consumers three years of maintenance for some peace of mind at Jeep dealerships, including oil changes and tire rotations; 24/7 support via phone or online chat; trip interruption and first-day rental coverage; and VIP access to select, exclusive Jeep brand events. All that included with a new vehicle? Feels like an upper-class deal for 2021.

80th Anniversary Edition Models

Many of the vehicles in the lineup get many of the same features, such as 18-, 19-, or 20-inch wheels, an 80th Anniversary commemorative badge, and the fourth-generation of the Uconnect system on 8.4-inch touchscreen, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and GPS navigation.
