The experts and jurors at PARENTS reviewed and tested 140 cars that were already deemed safe for the road by the auto industry, possibly those with a Top Safety Pick (TSP) or Top Safety Pick + (TSP+) by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Out of the 140 vehicles, only 22 made the cut, including the Chrysler Pacifica and Jeep Wagoneer.
