Chrysler 300 and New Pacifica are Excellent Family Cars
There’s a few traits that make excellent family vehicles– space, entertainment and functionality. Chrysler has combined all of those elements into the Chrysler 300 and the new Pacifica making both vehicles award-winning family vehicles. Whether your preference is a family-friendly sedan or minivan, the interior of both vehicles will keep moms, dads and children happy.
Named a Consumer’s Digest Best Buy in 2016, the 2016 Chrysler 300 is a spacious and powerful sedan with a luxury feel. Powered by a 282-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine, the 300 packs more power than the average SUV, yet offers a fuel economy of up to 31 mpg on the highway. With 106.3 cubic feet of passenger interior space, the Chrysler 300 offers five passengers plenty of space.
Aside from space, the Chrysler 300 has many standard convenience features that most people only expect on high trim levels or luxury cars. The Chrysler 300 comes standard with soft leather-trimmed seating and heated front seats. To keep passengers comfortable in the back and front rows, there is dual zone climate control A/C and front and rear solar glass protecting everyone from UV rays and from getting too hot in the sun.
To keep everyone entertained on long rides, all Chrysler 300 trims are equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display and Uconnect 8.4. There is also a USB port, a media hub with auxiliary and SD hookups and integrated voice command with Bluetooth technology. Finally, there is also a floor storage console and a spacious truck that allows for easy stow away storage.
Is a spacious sedan still not enough? Check out the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. Though only introduced this spring, the new Pacifica has already won several awards including the 2016 Family Car of Texas by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) and a spot on WardsAuto’s 10 Best Interiors for 2016.
The new Pacifica is equipped with dozens of standard and available features that keep parents comfortable, kids entertained and the minivan organized. When in the seats are not folded into the floor storage compartment, the compartment can be conveniently used for extra storage.
Though the new Pacifica is a large vehicle offering seating for seven passengers, it is one of the most fuel efficient minivans available. The new Pacifica is equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that has an average fuel economy of 18 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Additionally, this fall a new Pacifica Hybrid will be released making the Pacifica the first hybrid minivan ever.
