Autotrader Names Jeep Gladiator and Ram 1500 to its 10 Best Interior List for Under $50k

Any consumer in the market for a new or used vehicle has heard of one of the big names at least once – Kelley Blue Book, Edmunds, or Autotrader. When these organizations review a new vehicle on the market, be it an off-road SUV or a pickup truck, consumers trust that an honest and unbiased review will be the result. For years, consumers have used these websites and others, and the many tools available, to research, learn about, and shop for cars. A lot of organizations also put together lists throughout the year, “Best of This” or “Best of That”. For instance, Autotrader recently put together a list of the 10 Best Car Interiors Under $50,000 and the Jeep® Gladiator and Ram 1500 landed on it.

Let’s back up. Autotrader is an online marketplace that has been running for a little over 20 years, founded in 1997. That’s over 20 years of providing trustworthy information about cars to car purchasers and even sellers. A marketplace, Autotrader just doesn’t provide information but also lists new, used, and certified second-hand cars for sale from dealers and private sellers that consumers can view and then contact the seller to make a deal. With a large interest in the average consumer, Autotrader put together the 10 Best Car Interiors Under $50,000 list because who doesn’t like a nice vehicle cabin? Who likes it even more on a budget?

$50,000 is definitely some walking around money, but that’s why this list is for interiors under $50,000. Just don’t expect to find that with any other cab than the Quad Cab on the Ram 1500 light-duty pickup truck. It’s the only configuration with a lineup that doesn’t go past $41k. The high-end trim of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator midsize pickup truck, the Rubicon, starts at $43,875 (plus destination fee). Now we know, even if the list is talking about the high-end trim of each model, neither breaks $50k – probably.

“The Jeep Gladiator’s interior is perfectly in line with the overall ruggedness of the Gladiator pickup. We picked the Gladiator, not because of any inherent luxury, but because it somehow manages to be stylish, functional and comfortable without being garish or soft…For the third year in a row, the Ram 1500 is on our ‘Best Interiors’ list. The reason is simple…Of all the full-size pickups available, the Ram 1500 has the best looking, highest quality interior…” – Brian Moody, Executive Editor of Autotrader

That’s right, not only did the 2020 Jeep Gladiator land on this list during its first year of availability, but the Ram 1500 makes the list for the third time in the last three years (2018, 2019, and 2020). The 2020 Ram 1500 interior actually smashed records with an incredible 4.7 out of 5 scores from the Autotrader editor’s evaluation – a score untouched before now. To land so high on such a coveted list, the Ram 1500 is quickly becoming the new best pickup truck of the auto world.

We’ve seen fans of competitor brands looking at Ram trucks lately. It’s okay, come to the Ram side of pickup trucks and Ram 1500 EcoDiesel at Aventura Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
