Looking to enter the luxury class of the auto market, Jeep was known for off-road 4×4 SUVs. When it came time to push into other segments, Jeep opened the subsidiary “Wagoneer”, with just two models – the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. Officially the high class models of Jeep, check out what makes the 2024 Wagoneer so special.

For 2024, the Wagoneer has four trims – Wagoneer, Series II, Carbide, and Series III. The standard powertrain is made up of a Hurricane twin-turbo engine with start/stop technology, capable of generating 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission is also standard across the lineup.
Technically a Jeep brand, the Wagoneer can go into the wild without some real off-road 4×4 chops. Available with a two-wheel drivetrain or 4×4 setup for the Wagoneer, Series II, and Carbide (only 4×4 for Series III), every trim comes with an electronic rear limited-slip differential for increased traction and stability. If choosing a 4×4 drivetrain, the Wagoneer comes with Jeep Selec-Terrain traction management system, a crawl ratio of 48:1, and up to 24 inches of water fording standard. Select trims can add on various 4×4 systems for added capability, such as Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II with active low range and rear electronic limited-slip differential. Quadra-Lift air suspension is also available past the base trim with a 4×4 drivetrain.
A luxury vehicle no matter the trim, many standard features are included, such as heated exterior mirrors with memory, supplemental turn signals, auto-dimming, auto adjust-in-reverse technology; automatic LED headlamps; LED tail lamps and CHMSL lamps, LED 5-reflector fog lamps with cornering; an acoustic windshield; acoustic laminated front door glass; laminated rear-glass; deep-tint sunscreen glass; a hands-free power tailgate), and a roof rack. Adjustable roof-rail crossbars are available for more storage options (standard on the Carbide trim). Ambient LED interior lighting and rain-sensitive windshield wipers came standard on trims past the base. 18-inch wheels are standard across the lineup, with the option to upgrade to 20” and 22” inch wheels on select trims.
Inside, the base trim comes with Capri leather-trimmed seats, Nappa leather on the rest of the lineup. The entire lineup came with an 8-way power adjustable driver and front passenger seat with 4-way power lumbar control, 4-way front headrests, driver seat memory, a third-row 60/40 seat bench, 40/20/40 rear seat with power tilt, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster display, heated and ventilated front seats, triple-zone automatic air conditioning, rear-seat heat-ducts, and a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel. A tri-pane panoramic sunroof is available on most of the lineup, standard on the Carbide trim. Heated second-row seats are available on most rims, standard on the Wagoneer Series II.
All 2024 Wagoneer models come with Uconnect 5 with navigation on a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, capable of Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot trial, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, an Amazon Alexa smart speaker built-in (Wi-Fi required), integrated voice command, and an Alpine 9-speaker system with a subwoofer. Consumers can add a 10.1-inch rear entertainment center, Amazon Fire TV to the Carbide and Wagoneer Series III trims. Only the Wagoneer Series III trim can upgrade the sound system to a McIntosh 19-speaker entertainment system.
