2024 Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator Named as “Best Vehicles for Adventure” by AutoTrader
It’s the first month of the year, and Jeep® has already won two awards. Known as the leader in off-road capability and adventure, Jeep grabbed two awards during the 2024 AutoTrader Awards. For the second consecutive year, the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator earned awards from, AutoTrader, the well-respected Canadian online publication. Based on a number of factors, AutoTrader named both models as the “Best Vehicle for Adventure”.

They really said it all. An experienced jury of more than 20 automotive journalists from all parts of the country get together to vote on the best vehicles in each vehicle segment. A variety of criteria need to be met to land on the list and win an award. These include value, innovation, safety, driver satisfaction, overall excellence, and more. The vehicles selected go above and beyond to give consumers confidence in their decision when in the market for a new vehicle purchase.
As for the two award winners, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler continues to bring off-road capability first full-float Dana rear axle, available 100:1 crawl ratio, a new factory Warn winch, and increased 2,268-kg (5,000-pound) tow capability. Every trim of the lineup comes with the Command-Trac part-time 4WD system, a feature that switches to 4×4 when a loss of traction is recognized, and can offer a 2.72:1 low range for rock crawling for optimal off-road adventure. Inside, consumers get to enjoy comfort and convenience with available power front seats, and a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen standard.
Based off of this one-of-a-kind off road warrior is the one and only Jeep Gladiator. Not only is the Jeep Gladiator a Wrangler with a truck bed, reinvigorating the midsize pickup truck, but it also adds greater capability, more refinement, new technology, and more standard safety features to the model lineup. Just like the Jeep Wrangler, the Jeep Gladiator features available power front seats tested for water fording and more comfort, plus a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5. It even dons the same fresh exterior with a new seven-slot grille all Jeep models are known for.
Jeep has also been introducing plug-in hybrid models for the last few years, one of the most popular of course the Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged gas engine and two electric motors and powered by high-voltage battery pack, the Wrangler 4xe has an all-electric range of 22 miles. The automaker is now working on its own all-electric model, the Jeep Wagoneer S.
