The 2024 Dodge Durango is made up of a total of 15 trims ā SXT, SXT Plus, GT, GT Plus, GT Premium, R/T, Citadel, R/T Plus, R/T Premium, SRT 392, SRT 392 Plus, SRT 392 Premium, SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Plus, and SRT Hellcat Premium. From the SXT to GT Premium, plus the Citadel trim, are powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine, optimized with variable valve timing (VVT) and engine stop/start technology, able to generate 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. All R/T trims are powered by the 5.7-liter HEMIĀ® V8, also optimized with VVT and a multi-displacement system (MDS), able to generate 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet. Durango SRT 392 trims are all powered by a 6.4-liter V8 SRTĀ® HEMI engine, able to generate 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The SRT Hellcat trims come equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine, able to generate 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque.
Driving and Handling
Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is the standard drivetrain up to the SRT 392; this trim and those following come with all-wheel drive (AWD) standard, optional on the preceding models in the lineup. Regardless, fuel economy doesnāt change by much when equipped with a different drivetrain. If powered by the 3.6-liter V6 engine, consumers can expect a fuel economy of 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. When powered by the 5.7-liter HEMI V8, the fuel economy is 14 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. SRT 392 trims have a fuel economy of 13/19 mpg city/highway, and the SRT Hellcat offers a 12 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway. Towing maximum capability ranges from 6200 – 8700 pounds.

Exterior Features
The last of the Durango, expect plenty of great standard features. These include heated exterior mirrors (plus memory and supplemental turn signals, starting with the GT Plus), automatic headlamps with bi-function LED projector headlamps, LED tail lamps, an acoustic windshield, rain-sensitive windshield wipers, deep-tint sunscreen glass, a laminated front door glass, and tinted windshield glass. On and past the Citadel trim, consumers can also find premium LED fog lamps and LED turn signals. The standard wheel size is 18-inches for the SXT and SXT Plus, then 20-inch wheels for the rest of the lineup in various designs.
Interior Features
Cloth upholstery is the standard for the SXT, SXT Plus, and GT. Leather upholstery starts with the GT Plus. The SRT 392 trims come with high-performance leather, and then the rest of the lineup comes with high-performance Laguna leather. Consumers can expect an 8-way power-adjustable driver and manually-adjustable front passenger seats, a 60/40 split-folding second row, triple-zone automatic air conditioning, an automatic-dimming rear-view mirror, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats on most trims. Past the GT trim, heated second-row seats and 8-way power-adjustable front-passenger seats become the standard or available for most trims, plus 4-way power lumbar support for the driver and passenger seat.

Entertainment
The standard entertainment setup is Uconnect 4 on an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, upgrading to Uconnect 5 NAV on a 10.1-inch touchscreen display past the GT trim. Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, Bluetooth voice command, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls all come standard. Past the GT trim, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and HD Radio become available. The standard sound system is six Alpine speakers, upgrading to a nine Alpine amplified speaker system with a subwoofer starting with the GT Premium trim. Past the GT Plus, many trims come with a 9 Alpine amplified speaker sound system, excluding SRT 392, SRT 392 premium, and SRT Hellcat Premium ā these trims come with a 19 Harman Kardon Amped speakers with subwoofer sound system.
Safety Features and Warranty
The 2024 Dodge Durango has many basic safety features, including advanced multistage front airbags; supplemental front-seat-mounted and side-curtain airbags in all rows; stability and traction control systems; remote proximity keyless entry; and a LATCH-ready child seat restraint system. Standard advanced safety features include blind-spot and cross-path detection, and a ParkView rear back-up camera. Select trims can also come with adaptive cruise control with stop and full-speed forward-collision warning plus available, ParkSense Rear Park-Assist with Stop system, lane departure warning plus, and a ParkSense front and rear park-assist with stop system added.
