Avail. Engine Type
For 2023, the Chrysler Pacifica has four trims – the Touring, Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle. One powertrain powers them all, a 3.6-liter V6 engine able to generate 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. To aid in conserving fuel, this engine comes equipped with an Electric Start-Stop (ESS) system.
Driving and Handling
The transmission is also the same, a nine-speed automatic transmission. This means the fuel economy is also the same across the lineup, offering 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Offered with AWD in recent years, we expect this option to return for 2023.
Features standard on the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica are heated exterior mirrors with supplemental turn signals, automatic LED headlamps with automatic high-beam control, front fog LED lamps, LED tail lamps, and an interior door handle LED lamp. The windshield wipers are rain-sensitive, and each trim can opt in for Mopar add ons, such as splash guards. The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Touring and Touring L rides on 17-inch wheels, the Touring Limited comes with 18-inch wheels, and the Pinnacle is equipped with 20-inch wheels.
Cloth upholstery is standard for the Touring base trim only. The Touring L comes with leatherette, and the Limited and Pinnacle trims have Nappa leather upholstery and bucket seats. Second and third-row Stow ‘n Go seats with easy-tilt are standard in all but the Pinnacle trim. A third-row Stow ‘n Go bench is a lineup standard, along with an 8-way power adjustable driver seat with 4-way lumbar support, and heated front seats – fancy! The 2023 Chrysler Limited and Pinnacle trims also offer an 8-way power adjustable front passenger seat, driver-seat memory (also on the Touring L), heated second-row seats, and ventilated front seats. A dual panoramic sunroof becomes available with the Touring L.
This year, Uconnect 5 on a 10.1-inch touchscreen is the standard, with navigation available for the Touring L, standard for the Limited and Pinnacle trims. This means all trims come with Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, steering wheel mounted controls, and Bluetooth wireless technology. A Blu-Ray/DVD player system, seatback video screens, wireless headphone, and integrated voice command are available, starting with the Touring L. The standard sound system comes with six speakers, but the Limited come with a 15 Alpine speaker system, and the Pinnacle comes equipped with a 19 Harman-Kardon speaker system with subwoofer.
