Style
Exterior Features
Commercial trucks aren’t well known for their style. Their performance is mostly what counts, but some features can still make driving them more convenient. In the 2019 Ram Chassis Cab 3500, standard features like automatic on/off headlamps, tinted glass windows, and tinted windshield glass can be found on all trims. Depending on configurations, some trims may have the option to add fog lamps, black tubular side steps, exterior mirrors with courtesy lamps, heated exterior mirrors with turn signal indicators, and more. All 2019 Ram Chassis Cab 3500 trims ride on 18-inch steel wheels.
Interior Features
With the interior devoted mainly to the driver and front passenger, chassis cabs keep interiors somewhat simple. A 40/20/40 split-bench seat covered in vinyl, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with display, a rear fixed window, and a rear dome lamp are all considered standard features. On select trims, consumers can find a full length upgraded floor console, a mini floor console, a power accessory display, a rear sliding window, an overhead console, front rubber floor mats, and other convenient features.
Technology
Entertainment
Although chassis cabs are focused on performance, the 2019 Ram Chassis Cab 3500 got some tech upgrades. The standard setup is Uconnect 3.0 with six-speakers and the option of a 5-inch touchscreen on the Tradesman. The SLT trim comes with a 5-inch touchscreen with the option to upgrade to an 8.4-inch touchscreen and get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – all of which are standard on the Laramie and Limited trims. Integrated voice command with Bluetooth is a lineup standard.
Safety Features and Warranty
The 2019 Ram Chassis Cabs come with all the latest safety features, including airbags for the driver and front passenger, supplemental front seat-mounted side and side curtain airbags for the front and rear, stability control systems, a ParkView rear backup camera, and more.
