Engine Type and Lineup
Making up the lineup for the 2019 model year are the following trims: Chrysler Pacifica L, LX, Touring Plus, Touring L, Touring L Plus, Limited. Powering all trims is the award-winning Pentastar V6 gasoline engine that can generate 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Designed with variable valve timing (VVT) and “Electric-Start-Stop” (ESS) technology, the engine has been optimized for performance and fuel efficiency.
Fuel Economy and Towing
Optimized for performance? With 262 lb-ft of torque, and paired to class-exclusive TorqueFlite nine-speed automatic transmission, the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica can tow up to 3600 pounds. Optimized for fuel economy? With all trims powered by the same engine and paired to the same transmission, each trim has a fuel economy of 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

Exterior Features
Some of the improvements for the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica can be found in the new standard options between trims. Automatic headlamps, heated exterior mirrors, manual sliding doors, and 17-inch wheels are all still standard features, but select trims got a couple of extras, like the Pacifica Touring L Plus, now available with 17-inch polished wheels with painted Tech Grey pockets. High tier trims also offer auto-adjusting mirrors (in reverse), exterior mirrors with memory, a hands-free power liftgate, and hands-free power sliding doors.
There are also some styling options for the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica based on various needs. Consumers can add on a black or chrome stow ‘n place roof rack for additional cargo capacity, or optional running boards and splash guards by Mopar for a little more style and functionality. In addition to the eight body paint colors available, two new colors have been added – Luxury White and Maximum Steel (late availability). There’s also the S Appearance Package, also known as a “Black Out”, that comes with 18-inch wheels with a Black Noise finish, Gloss Black accents throughout the exterior, and an all-black interior with black seats, Light Diesel Gray accents, and the “S” logo embroidered into the seat.
Interior Features
Most of the improvements for the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica show up in the cabin of the minivan. Many of the standard features are the same, such as seating for seven or eight passengers, a 60/40 fold-in-floor third row, second- and third-row Stow ‘n Go seats, Stow ‘n Assist, sunscreen glass to keep the cabin from heating up, as well as keyless enter ‘n go and reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) technology. Added for 2019, the Pacifica Touring Plus and Touring L come standard with auto-dim rearview mirror; Touring L also gets a heated steering wheel. An Advanced SafetyTec Group, Uconnect Theater with Wireless Streaming, and Cold Weather Group are available for the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus.
Cloth-trimmed bucket seats for the first and second row and a cloth-trimmed bench seat for the third row are still the standard, with leather upholstery available the Touring L, Touring L Plus, and Limited trims. Consumers can find comfort options on high-tier trims, including driver seat memory, ventilated and heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, triple zone automatic air conditioning, second and/or third row window shades to block out the sun, an acoustic windshield, and a remote start system. Four interior colors are available for the interior cabin, several of which are available for cloth and leather upholstery (alloy, black, and toffee).

The Chrysler Pacifica is the most technologically equipped minivan of its kind – the basic sound system may come with six speakers, but consumers can also find options for a 13 Alpine speaker system, a 20 Harman Kardon speaker system, or a 20-speaker Harman Kardon sound group for surround sound. For keeping backseat passengers busy, the Uconnect Theater entertainment system with two 10-inch seatback touchscreens. Up in the front center console is a 7-inch touchscreen powered by the 4th generation Uconnect system, Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto capability, and integrated voice command with Bluetooth technology.
Safety Features and Warranty
For 2019, many of the same safety features return for the Chrysler Pacifica, including advanced multistage front airbags, a drivers knee airbag, supplemental front seat-mounted and side-curtain airbags (in all rows), a ParkView rear back-up camera, and a sliding door alert warning that sounds when the sliding door is opening and closing, a LATCH-ready child seat anchor system, and an occupant classification system that turns off the passenger seat airbag if no passenger is detected. Select trims provide advanced safety features, such as a 360-degree surround view camera system, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, advanced brake assist, blind spot and cross path detection, full speed forward collision warning plus, and lane departure warning plus.
All 2018 Chrysler Pacifica trims are covered by a 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty, 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, and a 5-year/unlimited-mile rust-through warranty.
