2024 Ram ProMaster Cargo Van

Configuration

Ram allows for a lot of different configurations of the Ram ProMaster so consumers can get one that fits their most basic of needs. Combinations are many, with four cargo-length models and three roof heights to choose from. The cargo lengths are 8-feet, 10-feet, 12-feet, and 13-feet. The three roof sizes are the (1) Standard Roof, with a 66-inch cargo height, (2) the High Roof, with a 77-inch cargo height; (3) and a new Super High Roof with an 86-inch cargo height).

A 1500 model can be an 8-foot or 10-foot cargo van, a 2500 and a 3500 can also be a 10-foot cargo van or a 12-foot cargo van, but only a 3500 model can be a 13-foot cargo van. The 1500 model 8-foot van comes with a standard roof, and has a max cargo space of 491.4 cubic feet. If choosing the 10-foot van, the maximum cargo space with a standard roof would be 352.8 cubic feet, and 409 cubic feet with a high roof. The 12-foot cargo van has a maximum cargo space of 491.4 cubic feet, and the 13-foot cargo van has a maximum cargo space of 532.35 cubic feet with a high roof, 598.68 cubic feet with the super high roof. The crew van can opt in for cargo lengths of six, seven, and nine feet, and six different high roof configurations.

Engineering

Powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, the cargo van is capable of generating 276 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a TorqueFlite® nine-speed automatic transmission, upgrades include a two-stage variable valve lift, variable valve timing, lower internal friction, and reduced weight. The 2024 Ram ProMaster can deliver an impressive 4,000-pound maximum payload or a 6,910-pound maximum towing capacity when properly equipped

Exterior Features

Built with a load floor height of 21 inches, an inner width of 56 inches between wheel wells, a sliding door that opens up to 49 inches, and rear doors that can open all the way up to 260 degrees, the 2024 Ram ProMaster is easy to access. The Super High Roof van can also come with a roll-up door as an available option, like the ones on moving vans. Available options include heated exterior mirrors, and the option to install windows on the driver’s sliding door and or passenger’s side.

Interior Features

The 2024 Ram ProMaster has options for the interior, such as two bucket seats, a bucket driver’s seat with a two-person front-passenger bench, or two swivel seats. The first two seating configurations only offer cloth upholstery, but leather is an option for the swivel seats. Consumers can also get a 3.5-inch display or an available digital cluster with a 7-inch display. For a better view when backing up, consumers can also opt-in for an LCD monitor that transmits a real-time video stream from a rear-facing camera.

Making it easy to have everything a cargo van may need to keep handy, there are headliner compartments for storage available. Two USB ports (both Type-A/Type-C) with the option to add an available 115V outlet. Remote Proximity Keyless Entry is also available to make entering the van easier. A heated steering wheel and heated windshield have been added for the 2024 model year.

Entertainment

The standard setup for 2024 is Uconnect 5 with a 7-inch touchscreen, with the option to upgrade to Uconnect 5 with navigation on a 10-inch touchscreen. Regardless, both offer wireless Apple CarPlay® for iPhone® and wireless Android Auto™, wireless charging, SiriusXM® with 360L Technology, Dual integrated voice command with Bluetooth and steering-wheel-mounted controls, and the available Alexa Built-In app.

Safety Features and Warranty

The 2024 Ram ProMaster comes with many standard safety features, including an advanced front airbag system with side-curtain front airbags, traction, and stability control systems, and remote keyless entry. Select van models can also offer available Intelligent Speed Assist, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking and Pedestrian/Cyclist Emergency Braking, Oil Level Sensor, Traffic Sign Information Traffic Sign Recognition. Available advanced safety features include Drowsy Driver Detection, LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, a ParkView® Rear Back-Up Camera (standard, Surround View Camera optional), ParkSense® Front and Rear Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Centering, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection, and Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking and Pedestrian/Cyclist Emergency Braking. ParkSense with stop, white noise backup alarm, and a “normal” backup alarm have been added for 2024.

All 2023 Ram ProMaster vans are covered by a basic 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, a 5-year/100,000-mile diesel powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile gas powertrain warranty, roadside assistance for 5 years or 100,000 miles, an anti-corrosion for all panels warranty for 3 years and unlimited miles, and an anti-corrosion for just the outer panels warranty for 5 years and unlimited miles. Coverage also includes free towing to the nearest Ram Truck dealer, if necessary, and coverage is transferable.
